Our last two new cars were a Honda CRV followed with a 2017 Ridgeline, we wanted more seating capacity so we happened to look at a new Acura MDX, wife liked it so we purchased it from Frank Leta Acura in 2017 Ridgeline, we wanted more seating capacity so we happened to look at a new Acura MDX, wife liked it so we purchased it from Frank Leta Acura in Springfield. The car had a nice factory finish, I wish we still had it… they talked us into having a “ceramic coating” applied. When I went to pick it up, it was covered with scratches all over the clear coating, it was bad enough even when I asked our salesman to look at it, he found more scratches. I was told by them that this was not acceptable and they would send it out to a professional that only does this process. The service guy who scheduled me in for this “FIX” told be it would be buffed out, I asked him if it was coming back with buffing swirls all over it or actually look like the Brand-new car that we just paid Brand new price for…. He promised it would look new. It was a cloudy day when I picked it up, and it looked pretty good. I just washed it for the first time since and in the sun, you see the SWIRLS all over the place, I am so darn disappointed with what was done to our vehicle here. To be honest I really don’t know what to do at this point. Anyone is capable of making mistakes or accidentally damaging something, I believe how things are set right are what counts. I do not recommend Frank Leta Acura for this reason More
