I purchased a vehicle from Frank Kent on 9/3/24. I was really happy with the way they presented themselves as a caring dealership at first. I purchased a 2015 Cadillac Escalade that’s was previously I was really happy with the way they presented themselves as a caring dealership at first. I purchased a 2015 Cadillac Escalade that’s was previously owned by an employee of Frank Kent. They expressed how well kept and how she always maintained the vehicle through their service department. I’m a teacher who utilizes the vehicle to take my 4 year old to school etc. I’m now having to get a 4 year old up at 4am and ride a bus so she can get to school and walk 2 blocks to get myself to work. They took money off the sale 3k to be exact because the car needed brake pads? When I asked he said yea because if we do it it’s expensive. I’ve installed a windshield pump, back lifter suspension and brakes Along with the side panel in the door coming off. Things I didn’t see when purchased. The lifters are bad now on the car. I reached out 3 weeks ago about the issue and I have been told we will get back with you let us look into it. I called today and spoke to a Joe who was ultimately rude. He basically told me what the conversation sounded like between me and the finance department when it came to extended warranty purchase. I told him that wasn’t what was said. He then stated what do you want from us you purchased a high mileage vehicle that has been off our lot for 5 months now? I expressed to him that the vehicle has been out of service for a month now and the total mileage I’ve driven the car isn’t high roughly 3100 miles. He stated you don’t have a warranty is there anything else if not thank you for being doing business with Frank Kent end of conversation. That’s not honorable business and the unwillingness to work with me is mind blowing. Totally different from the image that the company presented. I’ve prayed about it and will do what I have to do now. To have a car in your possession and be paying on it when it’s not drivable is really disheartening. More
