Found a used truck online after a lot of searching and it was almost 2 hours away. Worked with Dave via phone and email and felt comfortable enough to make the trip. With what I think to be a horrible winter approaching, my wife and I went to look at new/used Dodge 4x4s. We found a truck, a very nice 2011 Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4x4. This was actually a used vehicle, and had 2 wife and I went to look at new/used Dodge 4x4s. We found a truck, a very nice 2011 Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4x4. This was actually a used vehicle, and had 20,000 miles on it. At first, the salesman was friendly and helpful, until we ran my credit. I have no credit score, and they told me I needed a co-signer. This was not a problem, and the next day, my co-signer and my wife went to the lot to see what kind of deal could be made. We had 2 vehicles to use for trade-ins, so we felt sure we would drive the new truck home that day. While they waited for me to get off work, the lot ran my co-signer's credit. They also looked at the 2 cars we wished to trade in. Then they just sat and waited. My co-signer and my wife tried to see what the trade in allowances would be for our 2 cars, so they could see what amount would need financed. Gordon refused to give any numbers for the trades, and continued to run credit for the full sticker price. He would not negotiate at all. During the next 2 hours, until I got off work, he refused to speak with them or make any kind of deal. Neither Gordon or the dealership offered them any coffee, or a soda, or anything else. My co-signer said they needed to deal with her, as she was co-signing the loan. Another refusal. In frustration, my co-signer made an offer of $15,000 cash, plus our 2 cars for the truck. Gordon flatly said NO. The offer was then upped to $16,000 cash, plus the 2 trades. Another NO. No manager was consulted, to see if this was even possible. I believe this would have been a very fair deal for a $23,000 vehicle, since the trades we had were worth at least $7,000. With the second no, my co-signer got upset and left. I arrived a few minutes later, and discovered what had happened. My wife and I left, and decided to look elsewhere for a vehicle. A few days later, we found another truck and made a deal on it, so we do have our 4 wheel drive for winter. With the discourteous and unprofessional manner in which Fletcher dealt with my family, I doubt I will ever go back. I also would discourage others who are considering this lot from buying from them. More

I worked with Josh Kirby and Mike Byrne on resolving an issue that we originally had due to a misunderstanding about the purchase of a new Dodge Nitro. They worked with me and we were able to reach a deal that everybody could agree to. After some initial frustration we worked it out professionally and at the end of the day everybody was happy. They expressed that they were sorry about the misunderstanding and I felt that they did all that they could in order to make up for it in the end. I was pleased that they took care of everything and got us on our way with our new Nitro. I very much appreciate Josh and Mike's hard work and their determination to get the deal worked out. I know that at times they may have been a little frustrated with me, but they still took the time to explain everything to me and were with me from start to finish. Fletcher Dodge in Joplin, MO was able to again earn my business and I'm sure we will do business again in the future when the need arrives. Thanks Josh and Mike! More
