Appointment for Service I had an appointment for service, which I cancelled. Dan called me to offer to pick up my car and return it upon completion of service. Dan not only serviced my car, picked it up and returned it, but cleaned it as well. I have been extremely pleased with Dan and his service department at Boucher of Racine. Bad Used Car Experience My experience buying a car from Frank Boucher Volkswagen of Racine was less than ideal. I was very excited while searching for a (new to me) used car My experience buying a car from Frank Boucher Volkswagen of Racine was less than ideal. I was very excited while searching for a (new to me) used car and felt I had found the one for me at Boucher. I went for a test drive and decided I liked the car enough to discuss further. Eventually I went home to sleep on the decision as there was comparable vehicle nearby that I was also interested in. On the way home I received a call from the used car sales manager, Mike, about the CPO financing rates through Volkswagen I could be eligible for. I went back the following day to inquire about these rates and ultimately decided to start the process of buying this vehicle. After about 2 hours of waiting due to their system being “slow” I was brought to the Kia building to count my down payment, confident I was going to be getting the rate they showed that I qualified for. I was then taken to another room to sign paperwork where I was shown my actual rate (1% higher) and was told I didn’t qualify for the Volkswagen financing due to lack of credit history. While I felt like I had been exposed to a bait and switch, considering I had already given my down payment in an entirely different building, I continued on with process and purchased the vehicle. Driving home with a bad taste in my mouth from what had happened, I discovered the “empty” light went on for my fuel tank when I had been told I would be receiving a full tank. The deal finished after closing so I figured someone just had forgotten to fill it. I gave Mike an opportunity to make up for this by calling him the following Monday. After a few failed attempts, I got ahold of him and he said I would be receiving a gift card in the mail to make up for the lack of fuel. I have tried to follow up about the situation with no returned calls for 2 weeks after his promise. I would not recommend buying a vehicle from this dealership after dealing with these issues. More

I thought the salesman was friendly, helpful and the price was fair. However, the payment/loan process through Kia was very slow! We already had our vehicle set aside (paid the deposit ahead of time) an price was fair. However, the payment/loan process through Kia was very slow! We already had our vehicle set aside (paid the deposit ahead of time) and it was still a VERY long night with only one other couple at thur dealership. More
