I purchased a car from Frank Boucher on New Years Eve of 2010. Before going to the car dealership I spoke with Jeff, the Sales Manager. I had told him of the deals I was being offered by other dealerships 2010. Before going to the car dealership I spoke with Jeff, the Sales Manager. On the phone he and I discussed that I would be getting some gas/visa cards and he indicated to me that if I required more to make this deal happen that "it would not be a problem and I would get what I wanted". About an hour into the deal (Jeff was not there) I asked about the additional gas/visa cards that Jeff had promised me. The salesman and another sales person advised me that they were not informed of this & would call Jeff. They did and he said he did not know what I was talking about. When I came to rate the dealership everything with high marks EXCEPT my dealings with Jeff. I was told to contact him, because "Boucher wanted all of their customers to be happy". I did and Jeff sent me an email back stating that he felt they gave me a very good deal. I cited to him and a few other people that THIS WAS NOT WHAT JEFF HAD TOLD ME. I thought, ok, I need to just let this go...this is just a typical saleman tactic...tell you one thing, then change the rules as it suits him. About a month ago I came into the dealership looking to possibly purchase a used car. I brought my car in for a trade. They had someone look at it...and give me a low ball offer. I had discovered later that the person that gave the low ball offer was again JEFF the sales manager. This brought up all the resentment of how he lied to me a year ago. You would think that for all of the people I have told (and I have told a lot..and will tell a lot more) that Jeff would try to make good on his "word" to me from last year...oh well. If anyone goes to Frank Boucher in Janesville I would not deal with JEFF. Everyone else there (including a nice internet lady) are top notch. Their word means something. More
This was my second new car purchase in two monthes at this dealer. They work with USAA and really take the time to give the best pricing and service around. The only concern I have is when we picked up our vehicles, they were not showroom quality as far as the initial detailing work/cleanliness. Both times they were brought up to our standards, but it would have been nicer to get that initial wow factor of a perfectly clean and shiny new car. Cameron Mallory has an excellent work ethic, he was busy at all times, but he never let that get in the way of tremendous customer service. Very responsive and prompt service at all times. The way Jeff hansing and Cameron work together is refreshing. Thank you for the oppotunity to give my opinions. I hope the service after the sale will be as good as the initial quality. I shopped around at other dealers closer to my home..but none listened to what I needed and could afford..at Frank Boucher, Bruce listened, found several cars that met my needs and within my budget..the bus none listened to what I needed and could afford..at Frank Boucher, Bruce listened, found several cars that met my needs and within my budget..the business manager, whose name I forgot, found me a great interest rate...I spent less then an hour the day I picked up my 2012 Chrysler 200..I have bought a quite a few cars new or pre-owned and this by far was my best experience..I will recommend them to anyone I know looking for car! I loved my experience with Frank Boucher to buy my 2011 Jeep Compass! My salesperson was Bob Ucker and he was very patient and answered all our questions. I already researched the type and price point of the vehicle that I was looking for and Bob didn't try to sell me something that I didn't want or more expensive than I was willing to spend, he just let us "take the reigns" and he just answered any questions that we had. The dealership was nice and clean. My son had to wait in the waiting room while we were filing out papers and he actually didn't mind. He could watch t.v. He thought that was pretty cool. We bought a used passat from this dealership. We were told that it had brand new tires and that it would be sold with a full tank of gas. The tires were resurfaced and we had one shred on us while drivin told that it had brand new tires and that it would be sold with a full tank of gas. The tires were resurfaced and we had one shred on us while driving up a ramp with two babies in the backseat! We were furious! Also, the "full" tank of gas ended up being a gift card to Kwik Trip that only had $20.00 on it! They would NOT come down on price at all for us, and it was the biggest mistake buying from them! We have not heard good things about other sales from them, either. One person's mileage on the vehicle did not match the carfax, also another person's vehicle had transmission trouble not even 1 month after the purchase and then they were told it wasn't covered under their warranty, when in fact it WAS! They did end up getting their money back for the repair, but it took hiring an attorney! BTW-- we never did end up getting our tires fixed through them even though they were supposed to be "new". We ended up buying 4 brand new tires for our car that hadn't even been home a week!!!!!! More

The only thing that was a little disappointing is that we were never told they were running a promotion that weekend for an IPAD with any purchase of a new vehicle that weekend. Called them on it and Curt said that we got such a great deal on the vehicle that we wouldn't get the IPAD. Overall a great experience buying a vehicle (would've been even better had we recieved the IPAD though!) More
