Please note that our purchase of a used car was done via internet and phone as we are in New Jersey. However, we were treated with the utmost of respect and everything possible was done to get this deal th internet and phone as we are in New Jersey. My son has been looking for a particular Make/Model/yr auto for the past 3 years, via internet, local dealerships, and even a visit to a dealer in NY which turned out to be a disaster. That dealer lost a sale of nearly $15K because he wanted to charge us "EXTRA" fees for "running the car through our shop" -$595.000)and "doing the paperwork to have the title issued in NJ" ($395.00). Fox Valley accomodated us in every possible, including sending paper work overnight for signature, accepting a wire for the $$ and a minimal charge of $160.00 for getting the paperwork done so that WE COULD REGISTER in NJ, as we wanted to do with the NY dealer, however, he would not hear of it.....Told us..."These charges are all required under NY law..."however, in checking with another dealer in the same area, we were told something entirely different. Now that I know about this website, I intend to also "RATE" that NY dealer !!! Again, hats off to Fox Valley, most especially, Ben Stiritz ! More
Last year when my Pontiac needed service, I took it to Fox Valley Buick GMC. Despite the fact that diagnosis of my intermittent problems was a challenge, Thomas Mack the service advisor was extremely patient and the service people took all the time that was necessary to solve the problems. He was very courteous and professional, and he carefully explained to me what needed to be done. It was nice to get the feeling that this was a dealership that truly cared about its customers. While in the past I have sometimes left other dealers' service depeartments saying "I'll never go back there," this time I was so pleased that I did come back a few months later - to buy a 2012 Buick Regal! They found me the exact car I was looking for, the price was right and I received a fair trade-in on my Pontiac. Christina Wickersheim was especially courteous, not only during the buying process but with her followup after the sale. I would certainly not hestitate to recommend Fox Valley to anyone. They are a great group of people and they really understand customer satisfaction. More

Being a woman shopping for a new car by myself was intimidating but Kendenn explained the different motors and other inside stuff I did not know about. I immediately felt VERY comfortable with him. His demeanor is very approachable and not arrogant, as I have seen other salesman in other dealerships to be. I returned with my husband to signe a buyers contract so they could locate the exact car I wanted. Today I returned alone and finished all of the paperwork and drove away in my new car. Kendenn was AWESOME, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND VERY FRIENDLY!!! More

From the very first minute that my wife and I walked into the dealership we were very impressed with the size and layout of the showroom floor. While still taking in the beauty of the vehicles that surrounded us, we were introduced to Kendenn Serra. Kendenn instantly put us at ease with his non threatening yet informative approach to discussing details about the vehicle we were interested in. He patiently and professionally answered every question we had, and promptly put us in the drivers seat for a test drive. While on the test drive, Kendenn went on to explain the background history of the dealership, and the outstanding moral qualities and character of the owner himself, which meant a great deal to us. He continued to easily field any further questions we had during the remainder of the test drive. We found Kendenn to be very approachable and transparent in his delivery of what many times in the past(at other dealerships) has been the dreaded negotiation process.He made sure we were in the vehicle we wanted for the right price. Dwayne also stepped in at this point to assure that a very fair price would seal the deal. Later in the process, Martha took us through a speedy trip on the paperwork side of things expertly executing all the pertinent information without a hitch. Honestly, this is the only dealership we have ever walked out of not feeling like we had been taken advantage of in some way. The staff exceeds in relationship building, not just making a quick sale. Our driving distance to the dealership is 3 hours one way and we will joyfully make that same drive again when its time for our next vehicle. We have already shared our experience at Fox Valley with many other people. In closing, our time with with Fox Valley and with Kendenn Serra, far exceeded our expectations. Let me just start by giving you some background on our family. We have 4 kids: Gage who is 5, Tate who is 3.5, Sidney who is 3.5, and Cody who is 3.5. When we got pregnant with the triplets, we did not family. We have 4 kids: Gage who is 5, Tate who is 3.5, Sidney who is 3.5, and Cody who is 3.5. When we got pregnant with the triplets, we did not have a car that would hold more than 2 kids let alone 4. We turned in my car which I loved for a 2008 Acadia. This car became the only car that we could use to go anywhere as a family. A year ago, we got the opportunity to sell our house and move to a house that had land with a fence where our kids could play for a small increase in our mortgage. This moved us 20 minutes from our daycare where our kids had went since they were born. The daycare was still on my way to work, so I become the one to drop the kids off and pick them up. As the economy got worse, my employer streamlined to do more work with less people. I quickly found myself working late many a night. With me driving the family vehicle this also meant that the kids would end up having to stay late at daycare. Sometimes we would not even get home for dinner until it was bath time. My husband could not easily drop the kids off as this was the opposite direction from his work plus we never knew what days I could possibly be working late. When the triplets came into this world, our finances quickly took a turn for the south. To have 4 kids in daycare basically takes my whole paycheck which means my husband's paycheck has to cover everything else. Since our move we had constantly stated how much easier things would be if we had 2 cars that held all the kids. Last Friday night, my husband decided to venture to Fox Valley in St. Charles to see if he could find 2 cars that we could lease that would hold all 4 kids. We did not want to buy a used car as we could end up broken down with the kids or sinking money that we did not have into a possible lemon. We knew with our current car payment we could not afford to buy a new car, so leasing would be our only option. So while I fed and bathed the kids, my husband worked with the people at Fox Valley. My kids were worried that we would end up getting a car that would not hold all of them or would not have a DVD player. With the commute to daycare and with the grandparents living so far away, the DVD player has become very important to all of us. So while the kids worried what we would get, I was worried about my husband. I knew only what was going on based on our text messaging. I could only imagine what he was going through based on our prior car purchasing experiences (i.e. sleezy salesmen, stressful, bullying). Unfortunately, my husband was unable to find 2 cars that would meet our budget. On Saturday, we receive a call from Christine. She believed she had found 2 cars that would meet our prefernces and budget. So with kids in tow, we ventured from Oswego to St. Charles to see what Christine had found. When we entered the buidling, almost ever employeed greeted my husband by first name and said hi to each of the kids and myself. I started wondering where we were as no car dealership I had ever been to had been this friendly and nice without seeming fake. Unfortunately, one of the cars that was found did not necessarily meet my preference. I drive an hour to work and an hour thirty back so a comfortable car similar to my Acadia was my desire. Christine and Ted spent a long time trying to find 2 cars that would meet our small budget, our kids criteria of 4 seats & a DVD player, and our preferences. When they would find cars for us to look at, Ted was always so polite to exit himself and allow us to talk. Many car salesmen stick around to ease drop or pressure. All day long, Ted was always pilot and not rude...even after it had been many hours with us still looking for cars that met our budget. By the end of the day Christine and Ted were able to find 2 cars that met all our family memebers' needs. The experience while long was a completely different experience than any of our past car buying experiences. Our kids were even calling Ted, Uncle Ted at the end of the day. Even after we had agreed to a price, Ted still watched out for us and would check in on our kids while we worked with Finance to sign all the papers. In three years when our leases are up, I know for certain that we will be looking for Ted and Christine to work with on leasing or buying another car(s). I am open to any questions you might have on Ted or Christine and highly recommend them and the St. Charles Fox Valley GMC dealership to all of our friends and family. More

After 12 years of wonderful service, our Oldsmobile Silhouette developed some major problems, and we decided it was time for a new car. Our experience with the service department was a good one; Thomas provided excellent work and reasonable prices. We decided to begin our search for a new vehicle at Fox Valley Buick-GMC. Thomas introduced us to Ted Wenecki. Ted was cordial, helpful and knowledgable, and helped us in our decision to buy instead of lease based on our ownership history. The showroom was beautiful and provided us with a good selection of vehicles to consider. When our initial color choice was unavailable, we were given an incentive to opt for a different color...nice! Christine helped us through the GMC family plan process, and Martha was a wizard with the paperwork, warranties, financing and rebates...fun too! When I returned the next day...both Ted and Christina greeted me by name at the door, and Christina informed me that we were going to get another rebate from GMC family! This has been the best experience I have ever had when purchasing a car. The staff are friendly, knowledgable, funny, and are not overbearing. We felt welcomed and relaxed throughout the entire process and feel we received an excellent and honest deal. We highly recommend FoxValley GMC. More
