Never again First problem: salesman only introduced himself to my husband and shook his hand, did not acknowledge my presence. Not the best first impression, but I was willing to let it slide. Next problem: vehicle was clearly marked up from fair certified retail value, however, he insisted (many times) that they have no markup. Next problem: we explain that we were also working with a dealer in NC for a vehicle TWO years newer for $1000 less asking price, but we really wanted to buy local. The response was a snide remark about how that dealer must have "stolen" the vehicle. I've never seen a dealership so disinterested in making a deal! Needless to say, we took our money and our trade to the dealer in NC and the 2015 4Runner is in my garage for FOUR thousand less than what Fox Toyota wanted for a 2013 with similar miles. Also, next time, shake the woman's hand and look her in the eye. My name's on the car too! More
Best Service Department Ever! Was traveling from KY to Atlanta with my daughter on 10/7 and car wouldn't start in McDonald's parking in Clinton. Called Fox's Service Dept. at 4: Was traveling from KY to Atlanta with my daughter on 10/7 and car wouldn't start in McDonald's parking in Clinton. Called Fox's Service Dept. at 4:48pm and even though they were about to close, they sent a mechanic out to jump start my car and I drove it over to the dealership for a new battery. Turned out the alternator was bad and they ended up ordering me a new one. They didn't have the part in stock so I inquired about the possibility of renting a car, Ron H. was able to contact the rental agent Denise and she graciously came back to rent us a car so my daughter could spend 3 full days at home for her College Fall Break. I can not thank these people enough for their wiliness to help even when they were ready to go home for the day. They went above and beyond customer service and I will never forget that. Highly recommend them for your service needs! More
Excellent Organization Staff in any organization are a reflection of their leader and in this case the reflection is positive. I have dealt with many dealerships and a grea Staff in any organization are a reflection of their leader and in this case the reflection is positive. I have dealt with many dealerships and a great deal of the time exited feeling cheated and anxious, but Fox exhibits a positive, friendly, collegial posture again I feel based upon the manager. I have seen Ronnie Fox meet, greet and shake hands with individuals waiting for their autos to be serviced and he always reflected a warm, "You are my friend" stance both verbally and non-verbally. This interchange always seemed present over the days I was in and around that area and impressed me. William, Gary, and other staff reflected that same attitude of your being their colleague and not just a number on a Gantt chart of increased income for the company. The long term view versus the short term view of most is truly most adaptive and will in the long term produce a more stable cash flow and customer base who like me will continue to point others to deal with Fox. Bravo to your leader and staff for differing from this cycle of deception, deceit, and improper business practices used by many dealerships for shortterm economic gains. Every individual I have spoken to has complimented Fox and referred me back to them when I have discussed how others use improper business practices to "make money". I hope the Fox family will continue to have their sons and daughters involved and with the same ethnical stance, so I can refer my daughter, my friends, and associates to Fox for buying and servicing their cars and trucks.
