The dealership seem pretty nice other than we had to search for someone to help us. The transaction of buying went smooth and fast which was nice. The Jeep had a bad tpm senser in spare, they replaced it but the warning is still on and plan to go back a third time to see if they can fix the problem ( would of been nice if it was taken care of the first time around). This dealership may be fine when buying a new vehicle but I would never go there to get a used vehicle again. I just had too many small thing broken on the Jeep that you would not expect when buying from a dealership that deals with Jeeps (its one thing when buying from a private party). I understand the differents between used and new but used should still have nothing wrong with it when on the lot that the dealer doesn't tell you up front about. The life lesson is look over the vehicle really well if buying a used car from Flikkema. More

He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and was able to convince us that we could afford the vehicle we wanted and we didn't have to accept a lesser vehicle. Tom was a wonderful sales person that listened and met our needs in buying a minivan. I came in to get my Jeep serviced and right away I was greeted by Jeremy Voorhees. I was welcomed with a smile and he made eye contact the whole time. But most of all, he made me feel valued as a customer and reassured that he'd make sure the problem with my jeep would be taken care of. Before I left, Jeremy told me he would call to give me updates on how things were going and what the estimated time would be until my Jeep would be ready for pick up. And that he did follow through on. Came back that same day, again was greeted by Jeremy. He gave me my keys and went over everything that was done to my jeep, even was so kind to explain it to me so that I'd understood what they did. I've never looked forward to bringing my vehicles into dealerships because I've always had a bad experience. Overall Jeremy made my experience at Van Andel Flikkema great! He went beyond what any typical customer service representative would do. I will now continue to get my Jeep and any vehicle I have in the future, serviced at Van Andel Flikkema! More

Purchased a used 2012 dodge avenger on April 10, 2013. The salesman was great and we had a pleasant time purchasing the car. Got a good price and a good trade in value. The process went smooth with the salesman and financing. Since the purchase I've had the car in the shop twice and it will need to go back a third time. First time was simply to replace the windshield wiper blades. This made me think that the dealership was lacking on its inspection because the blades were in bad condition, but I did not know that until it rained. I noticed that the front end shimmied when I went over bumps and manholes covers. I took it to a dealer closer to my home and they said that the right strut needed to be replaced. I asked if this just happened and they said no that it was completely dry so it was like that for some time. They said the dealer (Van Andel/Flikeima) should have easily caught this if they had done a complete inspection. They had to order the part so I'll have to return a third time for service in three weeks of ownership. I feel that Van Andel/Flikeima should have caught these issue prior to placing this vehicle in service for sale. It makes me question their inspection of used vehicles for sale to the public and concerns me if anything else is wrong with my car that they missed. If your looking for a dodge or chrysler, I would not recommend this dealership. There are plenty others in the area. More
