While in town for ann appointment on Monday, January 5, 2009, my husband and I stopped by the dealership to look at new vehicles, since my lease will expire at the end of March. I can't even believe how I was ignored by the sales personnel. With the reports out on the sales figures being so low for the last quarter, I would have thought sales people would have been interested in selling a vehicle that day. Guess I was wrong. We walked into the showroom where at least 3 salesmen were sitting at their desks, with no customers, who looked at us and did not even say hello. We then proceeded back out the door and started looking around the lot at what I may want to buy. I was interested in the Vibe and the G5 & G6. But, since no salesman approached me, outside even, I could not get any information. I did see a red G5 XFE that I would have probably taken right of the lot yesterday, but no one was out there to be bothered making a sale. Even after I slipped and fell on the icy lot, still no one came out to sell me a car, much less see if I was injured! And, that is really too bad for the business, because I will be letting everyone I know about this experience and you can believe I won't be going to that sales floor in the future, nor will I be referring anyone to this business. This dealership kept my vehicle for 7 days and did not make any repairs. Every day I was told it was almost complete. It was excuses and lies the entire time without apology. As it turns out they never got the necessary replacement parts. By the way, I took the vehicle in for service as follow up to a prior visit. The service was scheduled because they said the replacement parts were in. This is without a doubt the worst service experience I have had. I have purchased 9 new GM vehicles over the last 15 years and have never been treated with such contempt and disrespect. More
