Then the person a at checkout didn't take my card information down right, and so they called me at my work angry at ME! She never did admit her mistake, but when she entered it again it went through. If you like soap operas it is a fantastic waiting room to sit in and watch them for 4 hours while you're waiting for the simplest of services. More
Wonderful Experience This is the third Hyundai I have purchased from Ann Arbor Hyundai. I have been very pleased with my experience. I found the staff to be very upfront This is the third Hyundai I have purchased from Ann Arbor Hyundai. I have been very pleased with my experience. I found the staff to be very upfront when determining the price of my vehicles. I did not have any problems with the Hyundai Genesis, Hyundai Sonata and I just purchased the Hyundai Elantra Limited. When I had my cars serviced at Ann Arbor Hyundai they were very professional. I have nothing negative to say about Ann Arbor Hyundai. My experience with them has been nothing but positive. I have found the dealership to be very customer oriented. More
Ann Arbor Hyundai is not recommended I bought a Hyundai Sonata 2014 at the end of this March through Rola Arid and Ryan Lester at Ann Arbor Hyundai. Be careful with the price they offere I bought a Hyundai Sonata 2014 at the end of this March through Rola Arid and Ryan Lester at Ann Arbor Hyundai. Be careful with the price they offered. They are good at using a fair price to lure you into a buying contract, but later on in the further paperwork they will let you pay some hidden fees. It's very tricky. Also this dealership is not customer oriented, and even refuses to take responsibility to the car with flaws they sold. They are always assuming customer is cheating and trying to take advantage of them. If you are experiencing any problems with this dealership the better solution is complain to the headquarter of Hyundai USA at 1(800)633-5151. More
We had previously leased a new 2011 Hyundai Sonata through Rola and that had become my wife's daily driver. My wife liked the car so well we were putting too many miles on it and were in danger of goi through Rola and that had become my wife's daily driver. My wife liked the car so well we were putting too many miles on it and were in danger of going way over the lease limit with eight months yet to go. My wife wanted a new car so she wouldn't be in danger of going over the mileage limit and didn't need to curtail her driving any longer. My wife challenged Rola to write her a new lease deal on another Sonata (she wouldn't consider a smaller car), without any additional money down, at the same per month cost we were paying on the 2011, AND with a 15,000 mile per year lease allowance instead of the typical 12.000 mile per year limit. I thought it was an impossible request, but by the end of the day we had the deal and drove happily away in a 2013 Sonata SE More
I bought a used Honda CR-V from this dealership. The salesman told me the vehicle was in excellent mechanical condition. Less than a few weeks and 200 miles after driving it home, a sound started develo salesman told me the vehicle was in excellent mechanical condition. Less than a few weeks and 200 miles after driving it home, a sound started developing that turned out to be the transfer case. As the sound got worse I took it to 4 different shops and they all agreed that it was a drive train issue/transmission. In the end, I found out other problems existed that were discovered in less than 1800 miles since driving away from the dealer's lot including: the brakes had a warped rotor ($250); a bearing in the main drive belt pulley was failing ($400); the transfer unit was failing ($1300); a drive shaft seal was leaking ($160) the latch on the back of the lift gate was having problems causing the open trunk light to come on (I had to fix). airbag light intermittently coming on ($unknown). This is for a grand total of well over $2000 in needed repairs. The dealership offered me less than 20% of what it would cost to repair and make the vehicle safe, and put it into "excellent" condition, the condition they said it was in when sold. Since then, they have retracted their offer and refuse to pay anything. In my opinion, that fits the definition of a slime ball dealership. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, SAVE YOU HARD EARNED MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. More

My heart was set on the Veloster Turbo Mattte Gray since I saw it at the NY Auto Show in April. When the Velosters started showing up here, I did everything I could to get mine. Time after time, I was lied I saw it at the NY Auto Show in April. When the Velosters started showing up here, I did everything I could to get mine. Time after time, I was lied to, misled, given misinformation and treated badly. I lost time at work at dealerships that had no intention of selling me that car. I expanded my search (I am in New Jersey) and saw that Ann Arbor Hyundai was due to get the exact one I wanted. I contacted them via the internet site. Rola Aridi called me up and told me I was lucky; the person who put a deposit on it took another car and it was available. Now, I heard stories like this before. I was excited but very wary. After many communications with Rola, I started to be put at ease. She was so professional, but friendly and dealt with my constant questions and questioning with great kindness. The car came in and although I had set up my own financing, they were able to beat it. Chris, the finance guy, told me what me options were as far as protection packages, etc. I declined them all. He did not push or try to sell me things I did not want. Rola sent me pics of the car still in safety wrap and Chris sent me the final paperwork to sign. I bought my ticket and flew to Ann Arbor that Saturday. I got to the dealership and my Veloster was out front with a "sorry -- sold" sticker on it :-) Rola met me immediately and was even nicer in person. We finished up everything and she showed me all the features of my car. She even gave me a hug when we were finished. Ryan Lester, the sales manager came over while I was there and gave me his card, saying if he can do anything for me, to let him know. He told me how lucky I was to get this, the first in the state. He said he was happy they could help get me in the car I truly wanted. Then I started my awesome 10-hour drive home. It is sad that there are no dealerships in the tri-state area like this, and I had to go to Michigan to have an awesome car-buying experience. I owe them so much. The best way I can repay them is this: Go to Ann Arbor Hyundai if you are even considering buying a Hyundai. I cannot recommend them any more highly. Especially Rola. Tell'em the Matte Gray Veloster Guy sent you. More
I visited the shop more than a month ago to check up on my break system and the after waiting for an hour, the service desk lady came to me and told me that my break doesn't need to be changed but there we my break system and the after waiting for an hour, the service desk lady came to me and told me that my break doesn't need to be changed but there were other things that were due, such as transmission oil change, tire rotation, etc. I didn't have a budget to get all those service. So I decided to only pick couple that were urgent and also asked for rotate my tires because my front tires are wearing faster than rear ones. When I was paying over $100 of unexpected services the lady told me the engineer had switched front tires with rear ones. I didn't have time to check my car when I was getting out of the service department and hurried back to my work. But when I arrived at the parking lot and looked at my tire, I realized that the engineer didn't even touched my tires. So I called the service desk and asked her what kind of tire rotation did engineer exactly do. She was very surprised that I would call her to ask this, but she returned with an answer something like "Oh the engineer apparently did 'side-to-side' rotation".. I still didn't understood why would anybody do that kind of rotation when front and rear tires are waring in different rate, but didn't have a time to waste any more time that day. I went to other car mechanics in the town today and told him about the recent tire rotation I recently got from Ann Arbor Hyundai dealership and he told me that unless the front and rear tires are equipped with different size non-directional tires, no one does side-to-side tire rotation... So here is my feedback about this shop: I never felt like I received a honest and quality service from this place and after visiting them second time, my opinion still stands. This service department is dishonest, customer-ripping, and has poor quality workmanship. I would never go back for any other service for this dealer. I used to live in Columbus, OH and went to a Hyundai service center there for all of my car maintenance. They always had a great workmanship as well as honesty, and I always had an opportunity to talked to the car engineer directly, so I trusted their work. This maybe another Hyundai service center, but the quality of their service nor the mentality of servicemanship don't even measure up to other shop I used to go to. Shame on you. More
