Fox Acura did a good job on my vehicle but the price for an oil change is a bit pricey. I’m an elderly person and live on a fixed income and can’t afford it. an oil change is a bit pricey. I’m an elderly person and live on a fixed income and can’t afford it. More
Beware of the used car sales manager at Fox Acura, James Woodhouse. I found him to be dishonorable and lacking integrity. His word means nothing and his actions speak volumes. I bought a used vehicle at Ho Woodhouse. I found him to be dishonorable and lacking integrity. His word means nothing and his actions speak volumes. I bought a used vehicle at Hoy Fox Acura January. During our negotiations he assured me that he would never sell me a vehicle that wasn't in proper working order and/ or dangerous to drive. Unfortunately after 2 hours of back and forth assurance that this vehicle would be safe and that his team would do a 40 point inspection to insure that fact, my worst fears came true. While I was driving home with the vehicle I purchased at Fox Acura at 8pm something felt wrong. I went back to the dealership less than 24 hours later and asked him to drive the vehicle. I reiterated that he gave me assurance that if anything was wrong with the vehicle, his team would fix it. Unfortunately, his service team said nothing was wrong with the vehicle. The service manager stood firm even though when Mr. Woodhouse and I went for a test drive, he is the one who noticed the issues. Given the reputation of Fox Acura, I was frankly shocked when Mr Woodhouse went back on his word. He claimed he is not an expert and if his techs don't detect anything wrong with it, then there's nothing wrong with it. To me this spoke more about the service tech team at Fox Acura then anything wrong with the vehicle. I took it to Casa Kia and they immediately told me I had a bad transmission and catalytic converter. After 2 months and 3000 dls later, it is now working. At the end of the day, I would caution everyone to not make the same mistake I made by assuming the name "Fox" Acura means something on the dealership sign. I know the family has worked hard for their reputation...unfortunately there are sales managers employed at this organization that aim to denigrate value of the Fox brand. My hope is that the new leadership will take note and prevent this injustice from happening to another trusting El Pasoan. I finish with an example of the type of treatment at Fox. El Paso: While I was there at the dealership I told Mr. Townhouse that I didn't expect this kind of experience at a Fox Acura dealership. Mr James Woodhouse, the used car sales manager, said to me " let's be frank the only reason you're here is because you saw a cheap car" not because of Fox Acura name. This man had the audacity to insult me and insult the reputation of Fox Auto Group at best. At worst, he was insulting me with a racist remark about whether I could afford an Acura. Branding everything. #foxmotergroupsellsjunkcars #foxsellsjunkcars #bewarefoxmotergroup More
