I paid an ok price for a used car and the sales experience was generally good. That's a policy you might want to rethink - it's exactly the kind of cheap attitude you that keeps people from coming back to car dealers or recommending them. Note: Fowler did reimburse me almost all of the cost for used original floor mats and review is updated accordingly. More
This is the second Fowler purchase for us. We dealt with Bruce in 2011 and then again this week. He was outstanding and did everything we asked and more. Friendly, easy going, no sales pitch! Allen (our sales representative) took the time to listen to our needs without "pushing" a sale. He made sure to make our experience "our own." He said that he couldn't but he would call someone who could, which he did. This man was a salesman and he, too, was very friendly and set-up the phone. From the moment we exited our car for the first visit we were treated exceptionally nice by all the salesmen. We ask for Cory Rucker, who we had talked with last October. We ended up purchasing a Ford C-Max, however, my wife had an accident and the C-Max was deemed a total loss. Cory informed us he was no longer selling but in the finance department. My wife is a principle in the Norman Public Schools and I own a Coffee & wine bar cafe called Michelangelo's here in Norman. Cory came in for coffee. I like doing business with people who do business with me. We were fortunate to to be paired with Bryan Roberts. He to was very informed on the Toyota line of cars. When we purchase cars, believe me we do our homework. Bryan came into Michelangelo's and had lunch...I was impressed. Not one of the other salespeople except fat the Ford dealer came by my business. You know as well as I do running a business is often a challenge, especially a small business in a small town. Cory did help us with the financing and we left feeling we could not have been treated more fairly. Cory knew his "STUFF", made suggestions we didn't even think of. My experience at Fowler Toyota was outstanding; the customer service was more than I expected. You hear lots of stories about car dealers trying to get as much out of you as they can, however, this was not the case at all and James truly did an amazing job at getting me a deal within my limits for what I was willing to spend. It quickly became clear to me that the folks at Fowler Toyota were sincere about finding the vehicle that satisfied my needs. Additionally, James has done a tremendous job with follow-up, making sure that everything is going well with the new purchase, and checking in on any new questions and concerns. Absolutely no buyer's remorse here! More
an hour after i left my battery toppled over pulling the negative cable off the post leaving me stuck in the middle of rush hour traffic with no power so the hazards wouldnt even work (very scary feeling to negative cable off the post leaving me stuck in the middle of rush hour traffic with no power so the hazards wouldnt even work (very scary feeling to say the least) when i finally got in contact with them 3 days later (after leaving 2 messages on a machine with no call back) the service guy said the part must have been missing for a long time! was it gravity that held my battery in place for such a long time>? i am extremely unhappy as my truck is now missing a part(which they gladly offered to sell me) that was obviously there up until the day i took it in of it would have happened a long time ago in his words....he said the supervisor would return my call 2 days ago still no word....if that is how they take pride and care for there long time customers since 2006 im out! Stephen is the best Service person I have ever dealt with. We live 3 miles from Hudiburg Toyota but I choose to drive the 20 miles to Fowler Toyota for all 3 of our vehicles.
