Customer Service I dropped off my Jeep on 6 March for a recall service (airbag sensor). The day I called to schedule I was informed there is a courtesy shuttle, up to I dropped off my Jeep on 6 March for a recall service (airbag sensor). The day I called to schedule I was informed there is a courtesy shuttle, up to 15 miles. When I checked in Fabian instructed me to sit in the waiting area for the shuttle. Several hours passed and no shuttle. Even when Fabian called me, and I informed him I was still in the waiting area, he showed no concern or surprise. Fabian knew I was waiting and even walked past me once without acknowledging me. I should not have to ask or continue to ask about the shuttle. If this is the level of customer service provided at Fowler, I will not return, nor will I tell others. Some people do not have time to sit all day waiting, hence the courtesy shuttle. Not one employee acknowledged me or others in the waiting area or asked if we needed anything. The appearance is employees push customers to the side. I requested an oil change while my Jeep was there and asked if they could look for an apparent oil leak too. However, after the service, I was informed it would be an additional $125 to diagnose the leak. Fabian informed me it typically comes from the oil filter area. If that is true, the technician should notice an oil leak when changing the filter. Or was my filter even changed? Because if there is an oil leak in that area, it should be noticed. The one aspect that increases my anger is the information of an additional charge of $125. I was informed after the oil change, and recall work was completed of this charge and asked if I wanted to accomplish it then. I requested the service when I checked in with Fabian; at that point, I did not feel like waiting longer. So he did not do what I had requested. $125 seems steep to take a few minutes to look around the engine while it is on a lift. I didn’t ask for a thorough exam of the engine and components; I just wanted someone to look for a possible leak. I will not return to Fowler for service in the future. More
