Need to pay better attention to the symptoms I took my car in for a very specific problem (engine mis-firing). I provided specific instructions stating that if they can't fix the mis-firing, the I took my car in for a very specific problem (engine mis-firing). I provided specific instructions stating that if they can't fix the mis-firing, then not to proceed with the other things on my list. Long story short and over $700 in cost, they fixed everything on my list except the engine mis-firing. As of this writing, they still have the car. The good news is that I am still driving the loaner car. If the engine technician would have paid better attention to my specific instructions to put the car in drive, hold the brake, and increase the engine RPMs to 1000 - 1500 RPM, they would have known the problem with the mis-firing wasn't fixed. Nicole has been very good through all of this. I commend her highly. The technician, not so much. More

Unacceptable experience Took my brand new 2018 Equinox in for an obnoxious unknown "whistling" sound. Car had less than 1000 miles on it. First slap in the face, I was denied a loaner vehicle and told I would have to pay to RENT a vehicle. My car is brand new! Haven't even made first payment and now was being told I have to shell out money to rent a replacement vehicle for an already needed service visit...Ludacris!! Decided to come back later in the day to leave the vehicle without needing another because was leaving town for four days. Left the vehicle that Thursday night. Was phoned while out of town the following eve, Friday, for the second ludacris conversation. Was told at that time that if I did not agree to let a technician drive my vehicle home with him for the night in an attempt to duplicate the noise, it MAY or MAY NOT get taken care of because they didn't have the time apparently to do it otherwise. What?!?! I declined to allow my new $40,000 vehicle to be taken home by a stranger. Beyond perplexed by the whole situation at that time, I phoned my salesman Max for some answers in trying to understand the situation to that point. He phoned me back letting me know the manager was now involved and assured me it would be taken care of. I got back into town on following Monday. Still no resolve to the issue and was told they needed to get GM IT assistance, needed to keep the car longer. I was finally given a loaner. Over the course of the next few days, while I was out of town again, I received calls stating a few different things they were exploring to find the cause. I was beginning to get frustrated obviously because this is a new vehicle, but understood. I returned back in town on a Saturday. I had not received an update on the progress for a few days at this point, so I phoned. Cody in service had to text the tech or whomever had taken over the issue because the tech was off that day to find out what was going on. My car was apparently done?! No call to me to let me know this! I was only in town for that eve and leaving again early the next morning. Used what little home time I had to go over and pick up my car. So I arrive to get my car. It was filthy.... couldn't run it through a quick wash after it obviously sat out in the weather long enough to have water stains on the windshield?! Not to mention all the greasy fingerprints on the inside of the glass rooftop?! In addition to that, I was told by Max my salesman, after going through all the trouble I did, that the tank would be full....it was below half. The slaps were building....hassle when first attempted drop off about a loaner, told I have to trust my vehicle to an unknown location in order to access the problem, no call that the car was done, getting it back in the condition it was, and you guys not following through on a full tank as promised? I don't feel like a respected new customer. More

From my first call to scheduling my appointment, to the shuttle driver, to the service rep were all very accommodating. My car was fixed quickly. I was quite surprised at the eagerness of all I dealt with to make sure I was satisfied. It was quite evident that the employee were happy in their jobs which is not the norm these days. I especially appreciated the sense of humor along with the commitment towards making my experience a very good one. More
