deceptive service My experience with Century Chevrolet was not great. I came to them to fix 3 recalls on my 2014 Silverado. I came away after 2 visits with it costing m My experience with Century Chevrolet was not great. I came to them to fix 3 recalls on my 2014 Silverado. I came away after 2 visits with it costing me $2000.00 on problems that they seemed to find . Some was maintenance that was probably required, some I don't think was required. I did ask them to check why my trailer brake service light was coming on. It cost me $464 for a new brake control module. The check brake light is continuing to ding , so I don't know what the $464 did. On my first visit they did a Transmission fluid exchange and a multi point inspection . On my 2nd visit which was 2 weeks later they found a leak in the transmission line that cost me an additional $438.33, my question is why was that not be picked up on the first visit, Seems very suspicious. Also on the second visit which was for a free recall they decided I needed new back brakes , they squeak more now than they did before the job was done , really not happy with the level of service done to my truck More

Happy camper! Wow, that is all I can say about my visit. I set up my initial appointment with Matt had to reschdule due to my crazy work schedule and he did with no Wow, that is all I can say about my visit. I set up my initial appointment with Matt had to reschdule due to my crazy work schedule and he did with no problem. When I got to the service center I was greeted and checked in such a short amount of time that it was nothing. I was having a couple flushes done on my vehicle while I waited and Matt came in and checked on me made sure I was good. The technicians did make a recommendation to have my serpentine belt replaced and Matt talked to me about it and explained it to me since im not totally car savvy and gave me quote. They got the 2 flushes and belt done in less than 2 hours!! How awesome is that?? Top notch customer service from Matt and the Technicians who worked on my vehicle More

Why is it so difficult to receive quality service? Look at our experience with Chevrolet and Century Chevrolet specifically. This is our 2nd Suburban; 15 years of driving these vehicles. We've used Century exclusively for our service and Glen, a service writer turned manager, has always been fantastic. Less so the service writers. High turnover is discomforting. Maybe it's an industry thing because we see it at our Mercedes dealer as well, but it would be nice to see the same person twice. Our service writer Cody was surly and unhappy from the outset. He didn't think he had been assigned to our car and when he wrote up the service order, he transmitted his feeling of being put out. The quotes for additional work were disconcerting - again, a sign of the times that repair expense, particularly labor rates, have achieved unreasonable levels. No wonder people migrate toward independent service providers. $700 to replace an oil pan gasket is ludicrous, reflecting bad engineering (the removal of drive components to reach a common repair) and outrageous labor hours designed perhaps to pad the mechanics' ability to earn. I replaced the gasket in 2 hours and it cost me <$100 in parts. So, in short, I am reluctant to take my car to service at Century, and therefore reluctant to purchase from the company. Sour service writers signal employee dissatisfaction or worse, disregard for customer satisfaction. More
Outstanding Service Century personnel and service have always been great. It had been a while since my last visit and improvements in other areas were very noticeable. The service was very quick and the amenities (popcorn although not sampled, etc.) showed a concerted effort to improve the experience. Although both of my GM vehicles are specialized (inclement weather for the Avalanche) and summer joy riding for the Sky) I don't need to get service very often, but remain a loyal Century Chevrolet customer. Thanks for the improvements. More
