Awful Service, Outright Insulting My purchase experience was fine with Century Chevrolet, but that's a one time thing with a dealer. Service is where you spend most of your time and my first time in they blew it. TL;DR; Century Chevrolet completely failed to provide even passable customer service in their Service department. They would not listen to what the issue was, pretended it was impossible for it to happen, passive aggressively insulted my intelligence, and did not resolve the issue. They've lost a customer for life. This encounter started when I brought my electric vehicle in for its first maintenance service. I was prompted to do so because my Key Fob for my vehicle stopped working the day before. The vehicle would not start, and did not have a key back up. The doors would not lock or unlock, again no key back up. Therefore, the Key Fob is critical to the function of the vehicle. When I dropped the vehicle off with service I described all of this. I was able to get the vehicle started after using a backup pocket for the Key Fob, but that took some digging through the vehicle messages and manual. After using this pocket method the Key Fob started responding again. Still, I was not comfortable with the thought of this process failing and leaving me stranded. The service team said they would look at the Key Fobs, though they completely failed at this. First they called me when the maintenance was done, saying they had tested the Key Fobs and were able to Remote Start the vehicle. I explained the issue was not with Remote Starting the vehicle, it was with the vehicle starting at all. They then claimed that what I was saying happened is just not possible. Well it happened to me. They said they would retest and call back. When they later called back they started to explain that when an electric vehicle starts there's no motor that runs, but it's still started. Very insulting, this is my second electric vehicle, and I've had this for months now. They went on to explain how to do a Remote Start. Even more insulting, it's obvious they did not listen at all during the last call. After explaining again that the vehicle would not start at all, having nothing to do with Remote Start, and that I had to place the Key Fob in to the back up pocket before it would start, they finally explained that what the pocket does is reprogram the Key Fob. This could all have been avoided if they'd just listened when I dropped off the vehicle and explained the reprogramming process then! But they weren't done. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle they had also printed out a copy of the instructions for how to Remote Start the vehicle and left them on the passenger seat for me to find. Beyond insulting. At this point this had went beyond them just being confused, inept, or otherwise bad at their job, and in to a territory of aggressive and unacceptable behavior. And if you're going to be a jerk, at least have the guts to be one to my face, instead of passive aggressively leaving a print out. Avoid Century Chevrolet if you value your time, money, or have any sense. They will not only waste your time and money, but they are awful at providing even basic service. I will never use them for service, I will never buy a car from them, and I will warn everyone to stay away from them. I recommend you do the same. More

thanks so much! we found a vehicle online that we had been searching for for quite some time to meet our needs. it had a price online that fit our budget, and we dec we found a vehicle online that we had been searching for for quite some time to meet our needs. it had a price online that fit our budget, and we decided to go for it. we were sorely disappointed however to learn that when we did the financial paperwork to purchase the vehicle, the price had somehow been adjusted significantly higher than what was posted online. fortunately for us jeremy and arturo cooperated and honored the original price. we were later able to find the listing and provide proof of the original sale price to arturo and jeremy, but thankfully they had already worked with us to get back to the original price. they were friendly, professional, responded to our questions and concerns quickly, were considerate and went the extra mile to make the purchase a success which included a trade-in. in addition jeremy came in from his day off to help us with the transaction and even changed into his other work clothes to help get the vehicle detailed so we could get back home in a timely manner to make some commitments. josh in finance also worked with us efficiently to get us in and out smoothly with no problems, while still taking quality time to answer and explain the financial process to us...he even gave us some helpful tips and advice regarding our new purchase. jeremy later noticed we had left our home key on the trade-in vehicle and was kind enough to mail it to us immediately. thank you again for all you did to make things happen jeremy and arturo-century chevy is lucky to have you both. thank you again for your terrific customer service...wish every car sales agent was like you. jeremy is still working with us even now, weeks after the purchase, to try and help us secure a second key for our purchased vehicle. he has gone above and beyond. we really appreciate his care and thoughtfulness. thanks again everyone.
