We’ve been car shopping and test driving cars everywhere. I found a Cadilac I really liked and It showed it was at Medved in Wheat Ridge, and off to Medved we go. Andrew from the Chevy place greeted us right away. We knew what we want and Andrew with the help of Jessica were more than willing to help us find Cadillac. They offered amazing customer service and were willing to bend over backwards to do whatever we needed done and they got us into an awesome lease. Work was great. Only thing is the oil change was suppose to include toping off the DEF tank. I will start by saying that I did buy a car from this dealership. I bought a used car at a low price point as a cash sale, and while I am satisfied with my purchase thus far (I bought it today, so, not dealership. I bought a used car at a low price point as a cash sale, and while I am satisfied with my purchase thus far (I bought it today, so, not really much to be said.) I wanted to forewarn prospective buyers of the absolutely AWFUL salesmen. Buying this car was an absolute nightmare. Trust me, I TRIED to shop elsewhere, I even had private test drives and paid for pre-purchase inspections on other cars before falling back on my Medved purchase. To fit everything into this review, would be impossible. So I’ll keep it simple. 1.) they told me over the phone that the price was negotiable in the context of a cash sale. They said this only to get me to drive 70 miles away from my house in order to get a test drive. They, of course, revealed to me that the price was actually not negotiable. 2.) After refusing my very reasonable offers ($250 off the final price for a cash sale. Seriously not asking much, considering they were desperate to get the car off their lot. It was literally the worst car they had.) they decided to reduce the listed price of the vehicle, but chose not to reach out and let me know, nor accept my previous offer. 3.) I came in, filled out some paperwork, and then had to figure out insurance for the car. These PUSHY f****ing salesmen INSISTED that I fill out ALL finalization paperwork while on the phone trying to get a quote. Did not even give me the time to get insurance. It was nothing but pressure and pushing. 4.) As I’m signing and initialing paperwork, WHILE trying to talk on the phone because they simply COULDNT wait for me to finish buying my insurance policy, I was repeatedly urged to stop reading what I was signing. They would see me start reading a section before initialing it, and rush me to write my initials. They would NOT allow me to FOCUS ON WHAT I WAS SIGNING. 5.) these salesmen were just absolutely awful to the bitter end. Desperate to get the car off their lot and still milking me for everything they could. I told them I could drive 70mi to buy the car on the same day, which the last day of the month, so that they did not have to pay taxes for another month on the car. They would RATHER pay another month’s tax on the car, than negotiate the price by even ONE dollar — and that’s exactly what they did. Seemed to be vehemently dedicated to that extra $25 on their commission. This is because they took it upon themselves to assume I was ‘rich’ due to the cash sale, and doubled down on taking advantage of my age. Absolutely SLIMEY and pathetic. I will never come back to this dealership. I was uncomfortable the entire time. LET ME BE CLEAR — I did not shop here because I wanted to. I shopped here because I NEEDED a car, as there is no public transport in my area. Jay Heartso was almost bearable, but it was evident that he had simply perfected the art of being a greasy salesman under the guise of being a “nice guy”. Don’t let it fool you. He was pushy as all h*ll and just gaslights you if you bite back telling him to get off your back. In conclusion, I tried with all my might to find a better car in the $4,500 price range. I could not. The deal I got was “fair” market value, and admittedly I do agree — even if the salesmen tried to pretend the car was originally listed at $8,000. ***IF YOU CAN SPEND MORE THAN $5,000 I desperately urge you to shop elsewhere. These salesmen are pushy, greedy, sketchy, slimey as h*ll, pressure you to your wit’s end, and will absolutely gaslight the s*** out of you to the very last second. I have never had a worse experience buying a car, and I have unfortunately bought more cars than I would like to admit. I can’t speak on the new car salesmen, but the used car salesmen at Medved are bottom of the barrel at best. More
The sell went great! Gerard Menard was great. The vehicle has some issues and it seems as if they’re going to take care of since we haven’t even made the first payment.
