Negligent and Reckless Service Department I bought my car in Huntersville, NC at Keffer Hyundai and was recommended to take my car to Fort Mill Hyundai as it's closer to my residence. I've ne I bought my car in Huntersville, NC at Keffer Hyundai and was recommended to take my car to Fort Mill Hyundai as it's closer to my residence. I've never had an issue at Huntersville, but decided to give Fort Mill a try due to convenience. I've brought my car to Fort Mill Hyundai twice. Each time the service department was unacceptable, as a result I will not be returning. First time came in for an under warranty battery replacement. I would have had no issue, but upon leaving the dealership I noticed a piece fell out of my car while heading towards the exit of the dealership. I stopped as I noticed the piece fall out, it was part of the harness that keeps the battery in place. I popped the hood put the piece back in place as it does not take much effort. If I can put it in correctly surely a tech can.... Battery replacement was under warranty, so didn't bring up a complaint. Second visit, I took my car in for a routine maintenance. When I was called to the front for completion, my service adviser had pointed out that one of their techs had opened my drivers side door into one of their lifts. So they dinged up my car on a routine maintenance. I was told they would need to keep my car for 2 or 3 days for the repair. Two weeks later I finally received my car, repair appears to be acceptable but there was no paperwork acknowledging what had happened. Upon retrieving my car they tried to charge me for the routine maintenance. In addition, whomever fixed the car left visible hand and footprints on the interior of the car. Service Advisers appear to be acceptable but service department is 0 for 2 on routine services. I've read several other reviews where they had left the inside of clients cars with grease, hand prints, etc and that is spot on. How long does it take to wipe down the inside with a clean rag after work is done? Another thing, you would think what happened on my second visit would warrant a talk from management, it did not, management never talked to me. As a result, I have to think what happened to me is something that is not normally brought up to management. So I guess they don't care about their shops negligence and mishandling of clients vehicles. More

They are always friendly at this dealership and service center. More

Bought my Hyundai Genesis when they were first introduced in 2008 (2009 Model). Have 200,000 miles on it now and always maintained by David. Car still runs and looks new. Couldn't ask for anything more. More
