After being lied to by one of sales managers in Fort Mill, I vowed to find a dealership more in line with my values, So, my husband found Paramount Ford Hyundai Valdese. WE are pleased with how we were treated and he is happy with his car. :-) When my lease is up in a year, I will most likely stay away from Fort Mill Hyundai. Please take this feedback and remember first and foremost honesty is key. I will even pay more for integrity. More
Unscrupulous financially I wanted my payment debited from a bank account and gave them a voided check. Next month I saw where several $$ more than the car payment was sucked I wanted my payment debited from a bank account and gave them a voided check. Next month I saw where several $$ more than the car payment was sucked out of the account and the debiting party was not Capital One Auto Finance. Contacted those folks and found out they are a 3rd party who handles the transaction for a $399 fee over the life of the loan. Vincent Jefferson (Finance guy) never mentioned any such arrangement to me. I did not sign anything authorizing such an arrangement. I gave Vincent the voided check with all expectation that Capital One would debit from the account. Vincent lied to me; telling me that that the 3rd party folks have 2 different programs and they put me "in the wrong one". The 3rd party folks said they only have one program. I don't need any 3rd party paying my bills for me. Got the arrangement stopped but they hit my bank account for a $25 cancellation. So, I'm out $65 at this point (the extra debit + the cancellation fee). Vincent and Paul Shannon (the salesman) both told me they "would make this right and get my $65 back to me". Has that happened? Absolutely not. Has it been over a year? Absolutely! Do business with these folks at your own peril is all I have to say. More

Service Performance and Follow up Recommended Fixes We had some regular maintenance done and a noise in the wheel developed that was not present before service. Our first request that someone ride with We had some regular maintenance done and a noise in the wheel developed that was not present before service. Our first request that someone ride with us to hear the noise was denied, but the noise was "verified" to be a part that would cost $500 to replace. After a meeting with the manager, made yet another appointment and rode with me. This time the diagnosis was a completely different part than before and would cost $450. I asked questions about the severity and time frame and it was not urgent. I suggested some oil on the area to stop the noise. I was given a loaner to get to work and was called back after 4 hours. Since then, no noise can be heard. I'm not sure if we were being dealt with honestly, especially after we got two calls from different sales reps wanting us to trade our excellent running car in. More

And before we drove off in my new Santa Fe our sales rep made sure I understood how to operate the majority of "whistle and bells". Plus the waiting area is nicely provided; drinks, snacks, and even a massage chair. More
