I called Carlos while I was up looking at a car in Salisbury and asked if a truck was available that they had on their lot and he stated yes. Told him I was very interested in it and I was 2 hours awa Salisbury and asked if a truck was available that they had on their lot and he stated yes. Told him I was very interested in it and I was 2 hours away. Got on the lot and looked at the truck and took it with my son for a test drive. Got back to the lot and stated I would buy the truck if we could workout numbers. The truck was for my son and he was excited that he was going to get it. They pulled my credit because we were ready to purchase it. The interest rate came back high and so I told the sales manager that I was going to take my son to lunch and try to get a lower rate and that I would be right back. Carlos told me that someone was coming to look at the truck but didn't tell me they were already at the dealership when we left to go to lunch. I went to lunch and while gone for 30 minutes we got approved at one of my credit unions. We come back to the dealership and my son walks in to tell them we found a better loan and my son was told by Carlos they sold the vehicle. Carlos then says I told you someone was already at the dealership looking at the truck. The ironic thing is that while they were pulling my credit Carlos grabbed the keys and actually showed the vehicle to the person that bought it. Why would you be showing another customer the vehicle that I am purchasing when you are pulling my credit and trying to work a deal? Then sales manager has the audacity to try to sell me another vehicle. He tells me that when I left I stated I had to think about the deal which is totally false. I told him I was going to see if I could get a better rate. I never turned the deal down whatsoever. This is absolutely the worse dealership I have ever dealt with in all my years. To show a vehicle to another customer while I am in the process of purchasing and then not tell me when I leave to lunch that if I don't purchase there is another buyer willing to purchase is pretty unethical and unprofessional. My son was truly upset and disappointed. I would never purchase or recommend this dealership ever. Who sells a vehicle out from under another customer. Now I just opened a 10k loan through my credit union for a vehicle I don't have. Truly unbelievable. More
The Service Manager Tom Furley was excellent. He worked with me with my wraparound service contract, which was challenging before. The dealer did not set it up correctly when I purchased the vehicle. My husband and I are very pleased with the purchase of our new car. Mr. Bobby Tyson was kind, helpful and patient with us elderly people. Car it's self was beautiful, but the service they performed was iffy. Wheels weren't aligned properly even though they were aligned apparently, oil was over filled, power steering fluid was low, and performed was iffy. There had been recall on a fuse issue for my Tuscon...I went for that and had an oil change and tire rotation and then the free car wash. The waiting area was just fine and they offer snacks and drinks for went for that and had an oil change and tire rotation and then the free car wash. The waiting area was just fine and they offer snacks and drinks for free while you wait, the whole thing was well done, nice folks working there and no problems. I think it was a fine experience and was very pleased. More
