Being new to the area, this was my first experience with th Recently, I had the opportunity to bring my 2016 Ford Explorer Sport into Fort Mill Ford. Being new to the area, this was my first experience with the dealership - I was not disappointed. My service adviser, Brandon Gafgen, worked hard to accommodate my service needs and return my vehicle promptly. He also reassured me about his organization as I was new to the area and was expecting the worst when my "Check Engine" light came on during an early morning ride to the airport. Needless to say, a few hours later, a wiring coil was replaced and I was on my way. Brandon tool the time to explain the issue and was extremely professional throughout my entire encounter with the dealership. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of a vehicle or service. Thank you More

My experience First and foremost the employees are nice people and professional. However they over promised and delivered nothing. Brought in car Saturday 2017 m First and foremost the employees are nice people and professional. However they over promised and delivered nothing. Brought in car Saturday 2017 mustang w 12k miles. Loud pulsing noise in cabin that increases with speed. Sat evening was told its mostly likely tires and replacement is covered under warranty. Asked to keep car until Monday. Monday afternoon was told it is tire noise and bc I have over 12,000 miles I will have to pay 40% to replace tires and will call w pricing...I even was ok with this. 530pm was told they will not cover any of the issue and wanted me to pick up the car. Nothing fixed. Very disappointed. Don't appreciate the run around. Never over promise and un deliver. Just say we do not know until we thoroughly check...before you say its covered off the bat. This is a car under warranty. This is a clear quality control issue. More
Terrible experience We had a bad experience at Fort Mill Ford. They take every opportunity to bill diagnostic charges that are not necessary. Goodyear diagnosed our prob We had a bad experience at Fort Mill Ford. They take every opportunity to bill diagnostic charges that are not necessary. Goodyear diagnosed our problem (bad PCM Module) with a 1 hr. diagnostic charge ($125) but could not repair because it required Ford to program the new part. Fort Mill charged 3 hrs. diagnostic charge (over $400) to come to the same conclusion. Once new PCM module was installed, this resulted in the AdvanceTrac light on the instrument panel staying on. This was the first time this had ever happen and we figured it was related to the new PCM module. Fort Mill wanted to charge another 1 hr. diagnostic charge regarding the AdvanceTrac rather than contact Ford Tech Support for help. We refused to pay. They finally contacted Ford. When we went to pick up the car, you guessed it, the AdvanceTrac light was still on. They called Ford again and it was finally fixed. It was all about properly reprogramming the new PCM module. How long did they have our car? Over 2 weeks. We were not pleased. More

Purchased a 2015 F-150 from another dealer but went to Fort Mill for service. Spoke to "Big Dave" as her identified himself on the phone to schedule the service. Was told based on the problem that I would need a ride-in tech so I would have to come in Tuesday at 7:30 AM. I go to scheduled appointment only to be told "the ride-in tech is on vacation not sure why they scheduled for this time". I was then told another tech could maybe look at but they didn't know when since they would have to service all other appointments first. So many things wrong with this situation that it isn't even worth it. Be smart and stay away from this dealer at all costs. More

We need We are a Ford family so when we moved to the Carolina's in late 1996 we wanted to find a Ford Dealership and service department to work with. We needed some work on a used Explorer that we had bought prior to moving here and discovered the fabulous guys at Fort Mill Ford's Service Department! We have been working with Clyde and Big Dave ever since! They always take great care of us. They are always honest with what we need and treat us as friends not just a number. Here we are 17 years, and 3 new cars (all bought at FMF) later and still getting ALL of our service done here. It is especially pleasing to us to know that in a world where loyalty doesn't mean as much and people change jobs often - we are still working with the same team here that knows us and our vehicles! More
