The BEST! We dropped in to see if we could get the oil changed on our Stinger. We were surprised when Dee told us they could get it right in! We were provided with a Lyft ride to the mall for free instead of sitting around waiting. Dee was the most pleasant and accommodating service writer I’ve ever dealt with. Starter Problem in my vehicle Had a problem with my car not starting when cold, it happened 3 or 4 times but eventually it would make contact and start. It's not the battery becau Had a problem with my car not starting when cold, it happened 3 or 4 times but eventually it would make contact and start. It's not the battery because the lights radio work it just won't turn over. On Jan. 25th, it wouldn't start at all and had to be towed to the dealership. Their investigation said there was a bad relay in the starter, and it was replaced. It started fine for a week and had another cold morning on Feb 1st and it didn't want to start again, but like when it first started haveing the problem, after a few tries it connected and started. I call the dealership and was going to bring it back on Monday morning the 4th, but after my husband calling in and talking to someone they didn't know what they would do if we brought it in because it was starting but I'm pretty sure the next cold morning we have I'm going to have the same problem. This is very dissappointing to have a 2 year old car and having a problem that can't be fixed because they can't figure out what is wrong. I really don't want to have my car towed again. Reading on line this seems to be a common problem others have had with the Sorentos, so seems to me there should be a fix, if not, Kia needs to figure out what's causing it. My car is still under warranty and it would be nice to have this fixed before it happens again or my warranty expires. More
One bad experience in 13 years coming to Tynan's Kia Really so bummed after my first terrible experience today in the Service Department with the Manager. As the customer, am caught between a body shop Really so bummed after my first terrible experience today in the Service Department with the Manager. As the customer, am caught between a body shop repair and Kia as to who is paying for a fix. Sunroof worked after hail damage repaired by Auto Collision Experts. Went to Kia as it isn't working now after warranty repairs and recalls. Kia says it is ACE that caused it and want the customer to pay. ACE is contacting Kia now to try and resolve as the work there is under warranty too. Not sure how a customer is to know if it is a Kia warranty issue or warranty from a repair when Kia was the last to touch it. The service manager is the most rude employee I have ever dealt with in my 13 years coming there for new vehicles and all of the service. BEWARE of this location as it may be worth your time to go to Longmont Kia or even Peak Kia for warranty repairs. Hoping ACE and Kia can work it out so I have my car back. UPDATE: ACE stepped up and paid so my car is no longer being held hostage. No apology and in fact, Kia is still blaming the repair shop. Incredibly disappointed in Kia and will go to a different location. Hope the owner sees and addresses the disrespect of the service manager. More
