Awful Service I purchased a new Jeep in 2014 and it has been back into the dealership multiple times. Nearly every time, it has been for issues they have caused. I purchased a new Jeep in 2014 and it has been back into the dealership multiple times. Nearly every time, it has been for issues they have caused. One example: The dealership replaced my windshield due to improper initial installation. A week later, I got a car wash and water poured into my car because they forgot to finish sealing it. After they reinstalled the windshield, I left my car in a parking lot for a few days. I returned to find the windshield severely cracked. I again went back to the dealership and they had the gall to accuse me of an issue clearly caused by their unprofessional and inadequate work. I even received a second opinion from an outside specialist, who they recommended, about the problem who confirmed that the crack was a stress fracture from improper installation by the dealership. The dealership still refused to fix the issue and forced me to pay out of pocket. This is not even the last of my issues, but I will never return. To any person who needs service, PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. You will be much better off taking it elsewhere. More

So the fact that I'm doing this again makes me EXTREMELY pissed off. So I took the Jeep (Thing2) to Fort Collins Jeep Chrysler Dodge for my trailer hitch recall. Those of you who know me know I KEEP MY CARS IN GOOD CONDITION WITH NOTHING LOOSE. So you can imagine my anger when I got her back and pulled my door card off when I shut the door. IT WAS NOT LIKE THAT WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF!!! Thanks for nothing! Now I have to fix what they broke. It costs MAYBE $5-$10 to fix, but its the principal people. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in Fort Collins Jeep to say the least. SHAME ON YOU! On top of that, I didn't get my car back until 6:45ish WHEN I GOT OFF WORK. NOT OK!!! I never heard from anyone on the status of her until I called. More
Service department needs work Poor communication. Appointment to drop off a Jeep for a recall at 8am. Was told it would be 2 hours. Got a call at 5:20pm saying the truck was ready. Poor communication. Appointment to drop off a Jeep for a recall at 8am. Was told it would be 2 hours. Got a call at 5:20pm saying the truck was ready. No work was done just an inspection. Melissa was outright disrespectful when asked why it took as long as it did. The customer service leaves much to be desired. More
Mixed Feelings We shopped around before plunking down cash for our 2015 Wrangler. The sales staff, especially the sales rep, was friendly, efficient and easy to work We shopped around before plunking down cash for our 2015 Wrangler. The sales staff, especially the sales rep, was friendly, efficient and easy to work with. Really the best. There are a few warranty issues (sloppy paint job, mostly) which I brought to the dealer's service manager's attention days after taking delivery. He refused to take a photo (the warranty process), poo-pooed me and claimed Jeep would never fix an undercarriage issue. Well, I drove home and called Jeep. Guess what? Today, 2.5 months after delivery, I make an appointment to have all paint issues fixed under warranty --including the undercarriage ones that Bob claimed Jeep would not fix. Yay me! Yay Jeep! Suck an egg, Bob. So far he has caused this process to require months of telephone conversations with Jeep and no fewer than 4 trips into the dealership. We intend to buy another Jeep in a few years and I sincerely hope this guy has retired by then. More
Excellent Repair Service My son purchased his first vehicle which was a used sports car. Within a month he was experiencing a problem with moisture showing up in the interior My son purchased his first vehicle which was a used sports car. Within a month he was experiencing a problem with moisture showing up in the interior without a recognizable cause. He took it to the dealership which specializes in his brand of vehicle and he was immediately given the run around. We then contacted Steve Hardy. Steve immediately started taking care of the problem by being very proactive and helpful. He was very prompt at returning our calls and worked very hard at resolving the issues we were experiencing at the other dealership. The moisture problem was detected very quickly by the service technician at Fort Collins Dodge and the repair was fairly simple. My son will only bring his vehicle to Fort Collins Dodge for service from now on. This is due to the excellent and attentive service he received at Fort Collins Dodge and Steve Hardy's amazing customer service. More
Do not buy or service your Jeep here! First of all know your trade in value. They quoted me $2000 less than other dealers from the start. Bought a 2014 Jeep Cherokee - it has been in 3x since purchase! First two times were for the same broken exterior door handle that they couldn't manage to fix. Then the Transmission failed while driving and they completely denied that this was a widespread problem. My children or me could have been seriously injured or killed because of the defective transmission. Research this online and you will find that this is a real problem. This could be bigger than the whole GM debacle. Jeep and it's dealers should address and fix this problem before people die as a result of their defective vehicle! Oh and to top it all off, when I got my car back from the service dept. there were several scratches on it and a broken hood latch. Unbeknownst to me, I drove this car home with an unlatched hood. Nice work Fort Collins Jeep! More

I bought a brand new Jeep Patriot in October 2012. My Jeep has been in the shop for warranty work three times since I got it. The first time, things were fine, but the next two, not so much. They have Jeep has been in the shop for warranty work three times since I got it. The first time, things were fine, but the next two, not so much. They have never actually fixed a problem without causing a new one, which forces me to bring it back in. They told me the first AND second time that if the check engine light was on, they would provide a rental. Now that I am about to take it back in to have them fix a problem they failed to correct the first time, two problems THEY caused, and diagnose the check engine light, they are telling me they wont provide a rental. Nice. Lying to a costomer, thats great. The customer service is aweful. The Jeep "specialist" basically told me that some of the problems were common, but not warrenty issues. I am sorry, but I paid a stupid amount for a new vehicle under the assumpion that even small things would be covered under the warranty. The specialist has been a jerk to both me and my husband on multiple occasions to the point my very level headed and rational husband was extreamly angry. It seems like if he decides he does not like a customer, he treats them like dirt and refuses to work with them. I hope they fix my Jeep this time, I really do, because I am tired of it being in the shop because of their incompetence. More
After trying several parts stores to have a non-functioning headlight repaired, my wife took her 2007 Dodge Calibre to Ft. Collins Dodge. The service department said they would have to replace non-functioning headlight repaired, my wife took her 2007 Dodge Calibre to Ft. Collins Dodge. The service department said they would have to replace the entire wiring harness at a cost of $1250. She refused and took the car to a local automotive shop that had been recommended by a friend. Big Thompson Auto took less than one hour to find the Chrysler service bulletin that said the computer code needed to be reset when replacing a headlight. The cost of the repair was $25.50! Is the service department at Ft. Collins Dodge stupid or are they just a rip-off shop?? More
My wife and I are retired and live in Arizona. We came to visit our son who recently moved to Loveland. On the way to Loveland our brake light came on indicating a problem. I called Ft Collins Dodge Service visit our son who recently moved to Loveland. On the way to Loveland our brake light came on indicating a problem. I called Ft Collins Dodge Service and the possible causes were carefully and thoughtfully explained to me and I scheduled an appointment to see what needed to be done. My Dodge Grand Caravan was seen that morning which really helped, so we could leave the next day to a family gathering in Wyoming. The dealership drove us to and from our son's home. Every person we met at Service there was clearly trying to be as helpful as possible. The mechanical service and outcome were excellent, as the problem was taken care of, and we feel confident to be safely on the road again. My wife and I am extremely pleased with every aspect of our experience at this dealership. Thank you. More
