Liars Through and Through Dealt with Steve Martinez and “manager” Mark Pavey. My husband took our 2017 Ford Fiesta in for oil change on Saturday May 25, 2019. Steve Martinez wa Dealt with Steve Martinez and “manager” Mark Pavey. My husband took our 2017 Ford Fiesta in for oil change on Saturday May 25, 2019. Steve Martinez was the servicer at the time. He told my husband that the car needed an air filter and the cost would be over $75 for a $39.99 oil change. After my husband was dropped off while the car was being serviced. There were also some other services amounting to several hundred dollars that my husband felt Steve was trying to push on him. He was not happy with this treatment. Being a non confrontational person he didn’t want to say anything. I don’t have that problem so I called Steve to discuss. Right in the middle of the conversation Steve interrupted and said his service guy had just told him that our right back tire had a nail in it close to the side wall. He wanted to fix it or replace tire. I said no that we would take to America’s Tire. My husband took the car to America’s Tire Tuesday May 28, 2019 two days after the holiday. The service guy at America’s Tire said there were no nails in any of the tires. So Steve Martinez lied to me. If I had believed him (as he was hoping I would) we would have been out $100 for an unneeded tire! Ford of Upland service department sucks. It has poor service reps and they are backed up by their manager. The only shining light is Kim Hawkins in that whole department. We will never take the Fiesta there for any services again. More

Went above and beyond!!! My sync system had started to malfunction just before my mile warranty lapsed. Not paying attention, we didn't take the vehicle in for service until i My sync system had started to malfunction just before my mile warranty lapsed. Not paying attention, we didn't take the vehicle in for service until if was 1700 miles over. The service manager (Eric) and his team make a customer good will request and were able to get my system replaced under warranty. HONESTLY WAS THE DETERMINING FACTOR TO WHETHER WE WOULD EVER BUY A FORD AGAIN, AS WE LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THE EXPLORER, WITH THE ONLY ISSUE BEING THE SYNC, WHICH THEY FIXED. More
