Kurt we see that you bought your 2012 Ford Focus from us brand new in July of 2012. Based on the service history of the vehicle your Focus had the transmission shutter that unfortunately the 2012-2015 Focus had and caused a lot of headaches for customers and service departments. Good news besides the shudder your vehicle had only maintenance in our service history. When you traded it in it had 122,000 miles on the vehicle. The letter that we sent to several of our customers did state you were paying a high interest rate and we would like to see if we could lower your rate and/or payment. Based on the paperwork it looks like you received A-plan pricing, which is great to get on a brand new 2017 Focus. It saved you almost $1500 off the MSRP of $21285. Plus the rebates $5635. Unfortunately we can not control what a bank states as the interest rate or how life changes in 5 years for a customer. But we try our best to take care of our customers. We are glad to see you have not only the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty but also you purchased an extended service contract and gap insurance which is a great way to protect your new investment. We apologize if you feel that we didn't care about you. If you would like to stop by at anytime we are happy to go over your paperwork again to help explain your car deal and the bank's decision on your car deal.
