This is my second service in a row where I’ve driven away and then a check engine light came on. This service was for a safety recall Ford proactively reached out to schedule, and now my light is on. I broug and then a check engine light came on. This service was for a safety recall Ford proactively reached out to schedule, and now my light is on. I brought it back in, and their diagnosis was that the light was unrelated but I require an engine replacement. Even if that is correct, I was told that I was out of warranty for this service. This is incorrect, as I have an extended warranty purchased through Ford that I’ve used at this shop 2 times previously including as recently as April. It seems like no research was done into my service history at the same dealership, because I’d imagine that would be an easy discovery. At the end, I was told they’d look into my warranty and reach back out. They have not. I’ve had great service with them in the past, but it’s frustrating to have to steer the conversation around my warranty and further frustrating to have missed commitments with follow up. I’ll move forward with another location. More
Stopped in to get oil changed and tire rotation. At quick lane They put the wrong full synthetic oil in. Stripped 2 of my lug nuts. 1 of the workers was in my passenger side of car while on the quick lane They put the wrong full synthetic oil in. Stripped 2 of my lug nuts. 1 of the workers was in my passenger side of car while on the lift. There was no reason for him to be in there let alone for almost 10 mins. And after I paid and walked out to retrieve my car my center console was wide open when it was not when they took it in. I'm very disappointed in the service on this visit. More
The dealership did what they could. My truck must be cold to find the problem. I will have to get back to you and leave it there so you can check it out when it is cooled down.
