Everyone was courteous however, the cost of my repair was a bit too high. I asked for a senior discount and was given only $50 off of the $1772 cost. a bit too high. I asked for a senior discount and was given only $50 off of the $1772 cost. More

I scheduled my Navigator with Bohn Ford for its 150K mile maintenance work. Ray, my advisor, took the time to go over my vehicle history and we found that some items were already completed on a couple of ear maintenance work. Ray, my advisor, took the time to go over my vehicle history and we found that some items were already completed on a couple of earlier visits and could wait until I had more miles. This saved me money. I still find Bohn’s service department being fair and ethical about customer satisfaction. Work was much quicker than expected and we’ll done, waiting area great to relax. Thanks goes out to the entire team handling my vehicle. More

So about Bohn Ford…We purchased a used Ford Explorer from Bohn Ford back in January. I was not familiar with the area at the time, made this very clear with the salesman, so he took me for a ride around the Bohn Ford back in January. I was not familiar with the area at the time, made this very clear with the salesman, so he took me for a ride around the area. Admittedly the area around Bohn Ford had much smoother roads than around the area we were going to be using it at. My husband comes in town and we go to look at it. He’s told it had x,y,z to it, it had been thoroughly inspected, blah blah.. my test ride was good so all’s good and we purchase it. We weren’t a few miles from Bohn Ford, I was following him, and he calls back to me telling me he didn’t think we would make it over the bridge because the low tire light was on and what the xxxx there was a miss in the motor. We did make it over the bridge and had the tire addressed. My granddaughter, who had come down with my husband, and I went to shop a bit before a dinner reservation. We came out of the store in plenty of time to make the reservation to find... the key fob was dead so we could not start the vehicle. After much ado we figured out how to stick the fob in a hidden place in the console to start it... thank God for 11-year-olds and YouTube. Made it with a few minutes to spare. Rushing back, we noticed the front end intermittently shuddering in the front end. I laughed and told her to hang on in case the front end came out in front of us and headed down the road in front of us. Flash forward we contact the dealership right away and let know about the miss in the motor and the shuddering problem. Initially we were told there was nothing they could do about it. After a few more phone calls the general manager said he was all about reputation and wanted to fix the problems. So we dropped it off on the way out of town. They called and said it was something with the suspension and a big prob with the transmission. They would fix x buy not y. After a few more phone calls they would fix all. After the fix the salesman picked us up at the airport in the ‘fixed’ vehicle. (Kudos to Nick who truly was great). Things seemed fine on the ride back. After a few days the miss in the motor started back up. It for SURE is a miss in the motor.. not a tranny issue. (whatevs). So we go last week to get the brake tag. We’re from out of town and this is a get around vehicle so yes we are behind the ball on this. At any rate we go for the tag to find we can’t get one due to the amount of tint on the windows and that ‘it should have been addressed before it was sold to us’. So I call Bohn Ford once again and after explaining the situation I was told that it is a used vehicle and they sell them ‘as is’ so if I want to get it tagged I need to either take water and a razor blade to scrape the tint off of take it to a window tint shop. What? Ok so the situation is…. And I made this VERY clear up front… is that this is a get around vehicle for part timers. I don’t expect perfect because I know the history of the vehicle but I do expect something that I don’t have to deal with crap every time we’re in town. That being said.. since we still have a miss in the motor and can’t get it tagged without further expense or hassle, we are looking to trade it in already and you can rest assured it will NOT be with Bohn Ford.
