It was worth the WAIT!! Anthony and Tyrone were the B-E-ST!! The car was under contract when we drove to Harvey on Wednesday; however, my 18 year old daughter kept saying she Anthony and Tyrone were the B-E-ST!! The car was under contract when we drove to Harvey on Wednesday; however, my 18 year old daughter kept saying she wasn't worried and knew that she knew the car was hers. Anthony told us to call him in an hour to see if the deal went through, we did.. he said he would see us on the following day. He followed up with us without harassing us; therefore, I will be sending him business and purchasing my 15yr old a vehicle from him within the next year and a half. Tyrone worked the deal and I AM A HAPPY CAMPER!!! Thanks Don Bohn Ford!! More
Great sales person Nate Lee. Justin was very informative as. Just my thoughts and personal experience. My initial and subsequent connection was with Nate who was very easy to work with and very informative. If N Just my thoughts and personal experience. If Nate did not know something he went to get the answer and never shot from the hip with anything. Nate had to go to a meeting so Justin filled in for him as we further discussed the vehicle and negotiated price. Both Nate and Justin were very good to work with. Neither applied any high pressure and both made me feel comfortable. The finance group was a different story and were not all that friendly, they did not meet and great people waiting and did not put me or others at ease while waiting. There was no communication as to how long I had to wait. There was a very long wait, well over an hour, and when I finally did get called in there was an attitude of here is what we will do for you without even discussing upfront what I wanted. When I refused what was being offered I could see that the finance person was very irritated. He tried to sell me a warranty package and actually rolled into the financing the warranty plan without even talking to me about it beforehand. After I stated my finance requirements and that I was preapproved elsewhere he tried to match that financing. He also tried to provide me with an interest rate that was double what I had already obtained approval for on my own. When he finally understood that I would seek financing elsewhere another finance man came in and got me the acceptable financing at that same rate I was approved for elsewhere. My experience with the finance group was that it is in great need of improvement. There was no welcome stated or no hand shake or nothing to make one feel comfortable. There was a feeling of high pressure and a hurry up to agree with him on what he was offering. He had made comments that he did not know my finance requirements however he never asked me anything and when I did not agree he said that he did not know my requirements. Seems that he should have asked me right up front! I suggest that the dealership take a look at the finance environment and make some positive changes. My positive ratings below are for Nate and Justin who have nothing to do with my negative comments above and herein and are solely on the finance area. 30k+ is a lot of money for me to sign up to and your finance environment does not make it a positive and comfortable friendly experience. I guess they are trying to make the dealership more money by pushing things however the approach and environment is not friendly but negative and it puts one into a defensive mode rather than into a comfortable, calm and relaxing situation. It would certainly be a big improvement for the finance people to discuss your needs or anticipations up front and to find out your needs before they go off and try and ram something down your throat and then get irritated to the point of being defensive when not agreeing with them. Just my thoughts and maybe they just had a bad day but not a good experience for me however I did wind up with what I had asked for all along. I did get a great truck at a great price. Top notch customer service I came to the dealership to get a check engine light on my car diagnosed. The service team at Don Bohn was able to diagnose the problem quickly and ha I came to the dealership to get a check engine light on my car diagnosed. The service team at Don Bohn was able to diagnose the problem quickly and had all the parts on site to fix the job by early afternoon. While I waited, I explored the possibility of buying a new truck. Bud and Chris helped me every step of the way -- finding vehicles that fit my needs and price point, letting me make some test drives, and walking me through the finance application process. While I didn't walk away with a new vehicle, I can't speak highly enough for the personalized attention I got from the sales and service teams that day. All of my questions were answered and I never felt any pressure. Every person I met was so friendly, ready to solve any problem I could throw at them. Overall great customer service. I'll definitely return to Don Bohn for any future repairs and when I'm ready to buy that new truck. More
