Bait and switch practices with advertising service specials specific to my vehicle. After bringing in and arranging ride to pick me up, they tell me that the advertised special is actually $40 more. specials specific to my vehicle. After bringing in and arranging ride to pick me up, they tell me that the advertised special is actually $40 more. Claimed that Ford puts these specials out but that they can't afford to honor them. Every service is estimated at least half a day. No offers of a courtesy loaner or shuttle. More
Travis at Ford dealership in Columbia, is the best. He takes care of me every time I go in for services. He is very professional and nice as he can be. He deserves a raise. He takes care of me every time I go in for services. He is very professional and nice as he can be. He deserves a raise. More
I had an 11:00 a. m. appointment. The representative couldn't have my vehicle repair done by my work time at 3:00 p.m. So he made me an 8:00 a.m. appointment for Thursd m. appointment. The representative couldn't have my vehicle repair done by my work time at 3:00 p.m. So he made me an 8:00 a.m. appointment for Thursday September 15th. On Thursday, I stayed hours until around noon to have 3 faults repaired causing my check engine light to come on. About an hour after I left, the check engine light came back on with the same 3 faults displayed after I checked the codes with my own diagnostic device. I returned to the service center, and the representative made me a second 8:00 a.m. appointment for Friday September 15th. During that appointment, I observed the same mechanic work on my vehicle again. As I sat and watched through the glass for over an hour, the mechanic sat in my driver's seat a couple of times, open my hood a couple of times, and returned standing at his computer where he was the majority of the time. I never saw a wrench, a screwdriver, nor any tool, and the vehicle was never raised off the ground. He had some phone size device in his hand and his laptop, and that was all I saw him using. I watched the mechanic leave the area a couple of times, take down his hair and fix it back into a ponytail, until the representative came over to my chair with an iPad showing me another option service I can choose costing another $262. After paying $1,117 the day before. I was frustrated seeing nothing done for the problems, with me working all the way in Nashville as a truck driver traveling from my Columbia home. When my car was pulled around into the staging area, the representative told me he had the mechanic to reprogram my car's computer with no additional cost. So I got in my car and left, still at this time hoping the check engine lights doesn't come on again. I don't think I'll recommend anybody to go through that experience I've been through there, and I don't think I will again. More
