Had a great experience with AJ and this dealership! Plenty of options to choose from, complimentary beverages, test drive went great, very helpful staff walked me through all the options. On February 8, 2022, I drove to Columbia Ford to buy a brand new 2022 Ford F-150 XLT. I arrived and inspected the truck I was coming to buy. I loved the truck with one exception. I noticed it had a num brand new 2022 Ford F-150 XLT. I arrived and inspected the truck I was coming to buy. I loved the truck with one exception. I noticed it had a number of scratches and dings in it, which I thought was odd for a brand new truck. I pointed this out to the General Manager, Doug Stovall. Doug told me that the blemishes probably happened during transit, that it happens occasionally, and he assured me that they could easily fix the scratches and dings if I would bring the truck back to them on a Monday (they told me Mondays are when their scratch/dent guy comes in). I considered backing out of buying the truck, but they seemed confident the blemishes were an easy fix and they gave me a "we owe" statement saying they would do something about them. Fast forward a couple weeks, I returned to the dealership on Monday February 21, 2022. They handed the truck over to their scratch/dent guy. I waited about an hour until they said the truck was ready. I went out to look at it, and the results were not good. Their scratch/dent guy had buffed the scratches, so the scratches did look a little bit better, but they were still present. The body shop had tried to get the little dings out, and they were better, but still present. Doug had told me that they were not going to do any repainting, so I left a little aggravated knowing that I was paying good money for an expensive new truck with a number of imperfections, but I thought I might learn to live with it. Fast forward a few more weeks. After all the rain we had, the wax from their buffing/repair had all washed away and the scratches looked just like they did before. The dings are obviously still there. The worst scratch, the one they spent the most time on, looks worse now than it did before the "repair" because there are swirl marks all around it where you can tell they got after it with a more aggressive compound. The more I thought about it, the more it bothered me that I was paying a lot of money for a truck that was supposed to be new. I decided to call in and tell them how I was feeling about the situation. I found out that Doug Stovall moved to another dealership and that they had a new GM named Jason Miller. I asked to speak with him, they told me he was not in, to call tomorrow. I called the next day on March 22, 2022. I told Jason what had gone on. He told me that he needed to look into it and that I would get a call back from him that day. I told him to please leave a message if I wasn't able to answer. He assured me that he would. Today is March 31 2022. I was never called back. I was blown off. I'm fed up with trying to get this sorted out, so I am writing this review. When someone sees I have a new truck, this is the sentence I hear: "Hey, you got a new truck...have you seen these big scratches on it?" I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and Ford Motor Company, and I won't be buying from Columbia Ford again. They mislead me in order to make a sale. More

It’s easy to come up with reasons why you can’t do something but much more customer supportive when you can find solutions. Very disappointed in the maintenance service I have received thus far. AJ was a fantastic salesman. Very personable and easy to talk to. Very straightforward and honest. He stayed in contact with us regarding the truck because we were driving from 3.5 hours away. On the other hand, we were misled about the price of the vehicle we purchased. At first we were told it was on sale but weren’t told the sale price. We made sure to make the trip but once we got there the sales manager informed us that it was not on sale and to honor the original price. The finance department did get us the payment and a fantastic interest rate, but forgot to add the sales tax which made our payment more than we originally signed for. All in all a decent experience but we were a little disappointed on being misled twice after driving from 3+ hours away. Again, AJ was wonderful. Absolutely no complaints on his part More
I feel it took too much time to purchase the vehicle. In my previous experiences I was only in the dealership for two hours. I asked the salesman to re-set the numbers on the door entry for me and he never did. I never did get an answer to having my new tires changed off my old truck. No one seemed to know anything about the 2500 discount I received from the factory. The place was a mess, looked like they were getting ready to move. I have been buying Ford trucks for over 50 years and hope this one will be as dependable as all the others I have bought. More
