Ford of Clermont is doing business that I believe is against the law. Keep reading as our experience has been mind blowing and the cops come in to the picture. We traded our BMW M5 Competition for a For against the law. Keep reading as our experience has been mind blowing and the cops come in to the picture. We traded our BMW M5 Competition for a Ford Raptor on Feb 27th. Ford stated the trade-in would be paid off by that Friday and our equity in the vehicle would be paid to us within a couple of days. Friday comes and goes, BMW not paid off. The following week we went to Ford of Clermont and was told they sent an electronic wire transfer on March 4th to our bank. We reached out to our bank and there was no monies received by them from Ford of Clermont. By this time the dealership had gone past the Florida law that requires dealerships to pay trade-ins off within 10 days. I contacted the dealership on March 12th and threatened them with reaching out to my attorney to seek a legal remedy if the vehicle was not paid off. Later that day they sent a photo of a check generated on March 12th to pay off. Don’t stop reading yet. This is where the police come in shortly. Vehicle gets paid off. Now we start checking to see if the title has been released so the Ford dealership can cut us a check for our equity in the BMW. Last we checked with the state of Florida on 3/22/24 the title had not been released and the lien cleared. Now the scary stuff with the police. On 3/23/24 about 7pm. We had a bunch of cops show up at our home in several vehicles. They said the BMW was involved in a road rage brandishing a weapon and hit and run. It was a scary situation since the incident with the BMW involved a weapon as you can imagine. After talking with the police for a while. I got the sales manager on the phone we dealt with when we purchased the Ford Raptor. The sales manager while on speaker phone with the police. Told the cops Ford of Clermont sold the BMW several days ago. Now first couple of questions I have. One, how can you sell a vehicle without the title. The title according to the police is still in our name. This is how they knew our address and showed up at our home. Two, if they sold the vehicle why have we not been paid our equity. I have text messages from the sales manager from 3/22/24 stating they can’t sale or cut us a check until the title clears. After I explain all this to the police. They stated to my wife and I that Ford of Clermont which is part of the Morgan Auto Group needed to be investigated and the detective involved in the brandishing the gun and hit and run would be looking at them and contacting us. The real issue is that since the vehicle was supposed to have been sold by Ford of Clermont without a title and it still being shown as my wife and I owning it. Now I am going to have to reach out to my attorney and incur costs to my attorney to see if we still have any financial liability due to it being involved in a hit and run with injuries. Unless you want this type of nightmare in your life avoid Morgan Auto Group and Ford of Clermont. More
Christina Williams, a Service Advisor at Ford of Claremont was amazing. We experienced an issue while out of state and a long way from Christina’s dealership. Christina talked us through some trou Claremont was amazing. We experienced an issue while out of state and a long way from Christina’s dealership. Christina talked us through some troubleshooting, was arranging for a tow truck and the truck started. Christie helped us find a more convenient dealer to our location. Christina was not only professional, courteous, and knowledgeable, she genuinely expressed concern for us and went above and beyond to help us. We would absolutely use the Ford of Clermont Service Department in the future thanks to Christina! Sincerely appreciated! More
Where does one even start? I brought my F-150 into dealership after my backup camera stopped working. All others 365 cameras were good. After a month they not only have not fix I brought my F-150 into dealership after my backup camera stopped working. All others 365 cameras were good. After a month they not only have not fixed issue but now have cause all 365 cameras to stop working. They troubleshoot one part at a time, order what they believe is an issue, it takes 5-7 days to arrive then another 24 hours to install to then find out that’s not the issue and begin the cycle again. This is ridiculous, ias i m to dealership instead of a local mechanic thinking Ford knew better than anyone what the issue was the first time. I was very, very wrong. More
I seen the truck listed for sale for 7000 dollars I contacted the dealer about it they said it will be in a few days two days after the truck was listed for 9000 dollars and they said that the truck w contacted the dealer about it they said it will be in a few days two days after the truck was listed for 9000 dollars and they said that the truck was not in will be in a few days the truck arrived and again they changed the price to 12500 and they said the price increase was because they had to clean it up very shady dealership how can they do that and expect you to trust them at all with the warranty work and anything else the vehicle they are selling They knew that I wanted to buy the truck with cash out the door what it boils down to they are greedy people More
My wife and I went to Claremont Ford to look at a couple of trucks that I was going to buy and trade in my 2017 Ford F150 4x4 with only 37000 miles on it. Still under extended warranty and we looked at a of trucks that I was going to buy and trade in my 2017 Ford F150 4x4 with only 37000 miles on it. Still under extended warranty and we looked at a 2020 Ford King Ranch with only 28000 miles on. Once the paperwork started, the price of my trading was not correct and the price sale price of the 2020 Ford, King Ranch was not as advertised. Of course, now they give you a USB with all your paperwork on it. And we did not check it out until the next 2 days to find out all the pricing was incorrect. I have contacted Claremont Ford 4 or 5 × to get this issue resolved. But have yet to receive the corrected paperwork on all charges and tradein price. Dante Barker is the financial manager. I guess my next trip is to Morgan and Morgan to file suit for deceptive trade practice. More
This dealership is very dishonest in advertising and statements. Please be aware before wasting your time going to this dealership. Their price online at auto trader was “a mistake”. I understood that. statements. Please be aware before wasting your time going to this dealership. Their price online at auto trader was “a mistake”. I understood that. I was given one price and then called again to question the online price that was on THEIR website. I was told again it was a mistake and was given a different price this time. I was told all fees were included in the price but tax and tag. Then somehow the out the door price was near 10,000 above the listed price. 4,500 over the lowest corrected price I was given AND an extra 2,200 above just tax and tag being added. I was told sorry all “reasonable effort is made to be transparent and correct”. Forgive me but that is not true. Beware of this dishonest company. Kelsey key and Nelson Merced were those giving out the incorrect information just so that those shopping can be aware. Although, I wouldn’t trust anyone at this dealership More

Living in Florida with 90 degree temps this is a risk to our lives. Service manager said it was coincidence and attempted to charge us for $1,200 repair. Made an appointment to discuss this with general manger Mike and service manager Fadi. Drove there with limited AC saw GM in his office said to be on the phone. Unwilling to meet with us. Service manager was on a test drive and also not available for our appointment. Met with someone that listened to us, placated us, promised service manager would call us, no call. Tried calling to talk to general manager went through a series of voice mail prompts that never let me leave one. As a loyal Lincoln- Ford customer of 45 years I find this treatment to customers deplorable. My once perfect working lincoln navigator is now an unreliable car! More
Best way to describe my 2020 Ford Escape hybrid is when driving it sometimes sounds like you’re walking on an old floor that creeks in a 100 year old house .First they replaced the rear shocks at around 2 driving it sometimes sounds like you’re walking on an old floor that creeks in a 100 year old house .First they replaced the rear shocks at around 20,000 and the noise never went away completely. We brought it back and they said the front shocks needed replacement under warranty. That was almost 4 months ago claiming they can’t get the parts .An email came in saying our parts have arrived and the advisor said they still needed one more shock while Ford customer service claims the parts guy said they sold it to another dealer in error which the advisor claims they didn’t. My 70,000front tires had to be replaced do to inner tire wear and Ford claims that’s not necessarily the shocks . The tire store said given the amount of tread on my rear tires that if it's not the shocks it's possibile my tires were never rotated but my invoices show them being rotated at 13,000 and 26,000 . Either way my car is still clucking and I’m out a set of tires .The pandemic been over for quite a while now and find it hard to believe I can’t get shocks replaced. We also had the cars carpet replaced and now we been waiting a year for the replacement to be replaced and Ford has recalled our last recall . More
