Kunes is bad for business I’m currently in a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy. Kunes Ford wants me to put down $2500-$3000 on a used car. I have (2) trades that wanted and didn’t want to I’m currently in a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy. Kunes Ford wants me to put down $2500-$3000 on a used car. I have (2) trades that wanted and didn’t want to give me any value for. They claim the back says I’m a risk because of my Chapter 13, the bank takes a risk any time they give a loan out. Then Art had the AUDACITY to tell me that he can get in a car that I’m not accustomed too!! I don’t know what the xxxx he meant by that but my last vehicle was a 2016 Black Impala fully loaded. I felt like he made a racist comment like I was poor and only accustomed to raggedy cars. Please don’t do business with these people!! If your in a Chapter 13 call your trustee and have them refer you to a more reputable dealer! More

What an Experience I just recently filed for bankruptcy. Because of that I was going to just keep the old 2008 Ford Focus that was too small for me, had almost 120K mile I just recently filed for bankruptcy. Because of that I was going to just keep the old 2008 Ford Focus that was too small for me, had almost 120K miles on it, and I still owed $11,000 on it because the only place I could get a car from at that time was a “buy here pay here” dealership. I received a flyer in the mail saying they could help me even though I was in the situation that I was in and to be honest I didn’t believe them. But after a few days and me having to put money into the “wonderful” Ford Focus unexpectedly, I tried it out. I made the call, had a few conversations and within a day they were calling me back saying they had “good news” for me being approved by one of their banks. I was still VERY skeptical and the fact that I had to drive to Delavan made me even more reluctant. But I figured, I’ve come this far, why not? Upon arrival I was greeted by one of the sales reps (Jacky) and I told them I was there for my appointment. She verified all of my information and in about 20min, the bank had a car that they had in mind that they would approve me for. I was expecting it to be something about as old as the car I had and with close to as many miles, but to my complete shock it was just the opposite. They said for their program it was important to put people on newer cars with lower miles on it! So she pulls up in a 2017 Altima with less than 15k miles! To be honest I didn’t want to drive it because I didn’t want to get attached to it and then when it comes to the monthly payment find out that I couldn’t afford it. Well after taking it for a spin, the whole time Jacky kept reassuring me that it was going to be alright and she was right. At the end of the day, my payment for this NEW vehicle is about $55 per check more than what I was already paying on my old car!!!! I was completely shocked and dumbfounded that things worked out as well as they did! The staff at this dealership really does care about you and wants what’s best; and that’s a rare thing to say when you’re talking about a car dealership. They treated me like family, and for that I’m eternally grateful. More
