I dreaded taking over a car payment but Sarah was awesome and went through all the options and even clarified some "wives tales" I had heard about leases. Very early in the conversation I mentioned I wanted a red car and when she pulled up choices, they were red! We had covered so many details in between my quick comment about color and when we started really looking at cars, I was very pleased to see the "race red" Focus pull up. Most of us work hard for our money and few of us are trust fund babies. I would highly recommend making Kunes your first stop for pre owned or new car sales. While Sarah set the bar by her friendliness and knowledge of all the models, options and finances, the entire crew I dealt with were very nice to myself and my daughter. I still don't like having a car payment, but after dealing with Sarah I know every time I write out that payment, I am truly getting my money's worth. Kunes advertised that they work with customers with challenged credit. Knowing that this was the situation I was in I did not attempt to waste the time of a salesman and decided to contact the special challenged credit. Knowing that this was the situation I was in I did not attempt to waste the time of a salesman and decided to contact the special finance department first for a preapproval. D.J. was the person I talked to. She assured us that they could work with us and our situatuion. I felt okay at the time of our credit application. I believed being honest with her was the best decision and did just that. I gave her all our information with the reassurance from her that she was going to let us know what they could do. I even told her if they can't do anything please let me know asap cause I was in a bind and needed to do something because I was borrowing a car and couldn't keep it for long. Days went by then I texted her asking for an update. She repied, We were so busy today and I will call you tommorrow. The next day I didnt recieve a call, but decided to wait. Two days went by till I texted her again, she replied, we were so busy again today I will talk to my manager tomorrow and get back to you. The following day she texted me and said, my manager is off today so I am just waiting to hear back about what type of car and the amount of a down payment we will need. This made me feel confident that something was being worked on after all. I was wrong. Finally after two weeks there was still no answer I so called her. She then could give me no answers and was very short and cold with me. Every time I asked her a question she would respond "I don't know." When I asked to talk to the credit manager that she was working with so I could get some more information she told me she was with another customer. I got off the phone with D.J. and called another dealer and had a preapproval within an hour. I am now a proud owner of an 2010 Toyota Matrix, it is Chase bank that I now make my payments to. I don't quite understand why I was treated this way by D.J., I can only imagine it was because I was completely honest,I knew that I didn't have perfect credit and admitted it. But unfortunately Kunes lost a life long customer that would have also purchased in the near future an car for her daughter and a one as well for her husband. More

I had been looking for a 2012 Ford Escape for over a month and my small car dealer kept saying there weren't any available. I discovered through Steve Gliatis that there were only 5 left in whole USA that had premium sound, which was one of my requirements. I stopped in to visit him on Thurday evening and Friday he called me to say he found 3! I reviewed the specks and determined which one I was interested in and the Kunes Country Ford group drove 300 miles to pick up my new 2012 Ford Escape on Saturday morning and I picked up my new baby at 4:00 p.m. that same Saturday! She is beautiful! The whole group at Kunes Country Ford was easy to work with and explained everything in detail. Steve is truly a very gentle, understanding salesman and very easy to work with! I would work with Steve again in a minute. Everyone go see Steve and buy your next car. He goes the extra yard with no high pressure! More
