My wife and I bought a GTO from Kunes about 8 months ago and decided that it was not practical for our family. We found a truck we were looking to upgrade to at Kunes online and made a call. The dealer was able to see me right away and was very helpful in providing details. We have troubled credit so we were a little worried, but Kunes did everything it took to put us in the vehicle we wanted. We still owed about 5 years and 4 months on the GTO and Kunes gave us an excellent trade-in value and when all was said and done we got the truck we wanted, financed at 4 years, and have the payment we needed. The whole transaction in our opinion went smooth, as we didn't have to do much because Kunes took care of it. We are happy with the vehicle and the service provided by the sales and finance departments. This is the third vehicle my wife and I have purchased from Kunes and we would highly recommend shopping at this dealer. I didn't write a review for the GTO but I want to say that transaction also went smooth and completed in just a manor of a couple of hours. I want to give credit to Sarah Lawson on that sale as she bent over backwards to get us what we needed and help to fix the minor issues on the car. I started out in a bad situation about one year ago. I walked into Kunes Country dealership not excpecting much of anything given the past state of my credit. Sarah Lawson was very personable, felt more like a day with a friend who was understanding. Rather than up selling things we were not interested in for her personal gain, she listened to our request and gave great effort to meet us at a middle ground, while keeping our financial limits in mind. I emailed Doria Southard about a used mustang and she answered my questions then sent me to the special financing dept. I gave them my information to see if I would even qualify for a loan based on that answered my questions then sent me to the special financing dept. I asked them to NOT run my credit and I was told by DJ Rogers that she would call me back to get my consent on the credit check if it looked like I would qualify. A day later I got a notice saying I had a hard inquiry on my credit but I never received a phone call. I called and spoke with DJ and she said she was sorry for not calling me but it looked like I would be approved. After being blown off for a few days Doria contacted me and I told her what had happened. She set up a time for me to come test drive the car. An hour before my appointment I was told the car was at a tent sale and I would have to reschedule and I did. My wife, 3 children and I arrived at the dealership and stood in the showroom for 20 minutes waiting for Kristen Lien to help me. She never came out but sent someone else. I test drove the car and liked it. We were told to go to lunch because they were still working on some things. We went to lunch for an hour and returned. We waited another 20 minutes to be told that they would deliver the car the next day to my house and we could take care of the paperwork then or we could wait another hour or two. We chose to wait and went to sight see. By now they had wasted 3 hours of my day off. I returned and was told the same thing that things were not ready and they would call me. After a few days I had to call back just to be told that they could not help me. More
