This second response describes my total experience with Kunes Country Ford in Delavan, WI. The only reason for not giving all "5's" is the length of time it took for cleaning up the vehicle. I realize a "spot" delivery is difficult for a Service Department, but I think they could have re-prioritized their work to get it done faster. The price was just was Kelly Blue Book said the vehicle's prices should have been, so I know I wasn't taken advantage of. The reason I would recommend this dealership is due to Shelly. She went above and beyond my expectations to arrange my financing, which has always been difficult for me in this economy. She kept her promises all the way through the buying process. I was working with 2 other dealerships in the attempt to obtain a vehicle, but Shelly's believability and leadership skills came through the phone. So I bowed out of all other negotiations. She did not overpromise and under-deliver. When I perform sales training I always tell my 'students' that they will never have a sale if the client doesn't trust or like the salesperson, they will never get the sale. Shelly handled those two attributes wonderfully. She personifies excellent customer service. When we entered the showroom Sarah met us and we told her what we were looking for. We looked at some new trucks and she helped us with determining if that would be the best fit for our budget. Whe helped us with making the decision on a newer used car that fit our budget and needs.
