Only takes ONE person to ruin it! Went in well aware of our situation but also went in knowing what I did or didn't want. AJ was absolutely amazing during the more than 15 hours he spe Went in well aware of our situation but also went in knowing what I did or didn't want. AJ was absolutely amazing during the more than 15 hours he spent with my husband and myself. I knew that if I didn't like what I was being offered I would walk out and be ok with that decision. I could probably be voted top tenacious and complicated customer of the year. I appreciate AJ's willingness to "deal" with my wants. However the finance person working with us the first day (this was day one of two) did not want to cooperate with me what so ever and that was appearant right off the bat. I was treated as if I was some snob who wanted what she wanted and that was that. However, if this man (Art) (can't be referred to as a gentleman because he is far from gentle in his approach) took more than 5 min to sit with us to understand our story and what exactly it was were were looking for a why. He would of not had this assumption of me as a person right off the bat. I left that night after being there for over 4 hours with a bad taste in my mouth with the whole experience! The next day AJ was kind enough to call us and offer to start over fresh. Thank god Ashley was there to work with us on our financing. Her and AJ paired up to get me into exactly it was I needed and wanted to be in! Granite it took a long time but with my tenacity I drove out of there with the exact car I was dreaming of! The first car I was shown was a 2007 red circus mini van....I drove off in a 2014 Traverse! If Art would of spent more time being a compassionate human being instead of just logistics and a number cruncher he would of been able to work with us just as Ashley did! Now there were plenty of special circumstances that went along with how I obtained my car. Without going into elaborate detail all I'm going to say is A week or so later I had to go in to pay my down payment. Art decided to speak to me like a dumb, unintelligent woman. Mind you here I am standing before him 8 months pregnant and he is laying it into me that I just don't understand finance and how the process works. NO xxxx SHERLOCK, THATS WHY IM A STAY AT HOME MOM". Needless to say I walked away from that conversation in tears and had to walk away from my husband who was speaking with AJ and go calm myself down in my Traverse. Art may be a manager but he needs some training in humility and kindest. My whole car buying experience has now been tainted by that man! How could you make a pregnant woman cry!!!!! Unreal! He also had the audacity to tell me he was cutting me off from further speaking to Ashley regarding my file. Like I said learn some humility! Not everyone knows the finance world. For god sake learn how to converse with someone without putting them down and making them feel stupid. But thumbs up to AJ and Ashley!! Thank you guys so much!! Can't wait for my little man to be born so we can fill up that much needed seat in my new TRAVERSE!!! Also thank you to Tom for not letting me walk out of there for the last time feeling misunderstood! More
