Delivers on promiss I purchased two vehicles in the past from Kunes, and just recently my third Ford vehicle from them. When it comes to price and quality of service they have always delivered. I shopped around at a number of dealers in IL and WI. In IL, I found the dealers will advertise and quote a false price just to get you into their stores. IL does not have a truth in advertising law, so the dealers stack in every discount and rebate when they quote you. Then when you get there, they peal off the $500 Military, $500 recent grade and even once the $500 1/4 horse rebate. Then they literally read the fine print to you. Really? Not at Kunes, they have always been straight forward with no surprises hiding in the fine print If you are shopping for a car in IL forget it, stop in at Delavan. You will find a rare dealership that values their customers, gets your questions answered with no run around, and a professional level of service in all departments. More

Review I had been looking for almost 2 months at cars, both online and at the dealerships as we needed to replace our Escape. I decided to stop by Kunes as I was getting a few EMails from Violet. I had not called, I just whimmed it at the time..I drove around the lot and seen only 1 that had what I needed, so I figgered I'd go inside and ask about. Someone asked if they could help I said, "New Car Sales" and he pointed me to Deanna. I told her what we wanted as in color, drive, hitch and sync3..but also wanted to stay in our budget As she checked inventory she came up with a Car and a little back and forth with the Manager JJ we came to a what seems like a decent deal to me. I mean who the xxxx really knows, but as far as 2 months of looking I sure know what they're going for. Overall Great experience, i will go back and give them another shot at trade in time. Kevin and Jeri Gerndt I would of gave 5 stars but it took a bit too long (IMO) to have it all sorted..but I do know it was only on their lot for 2 days/ so may not be preventable. More

Deanna my Sales Rep and Laken was so patient with me with the many reschedule of appointment days and time. Deanna was so warm and caring about my needs and what I was looking for. We had great conversation as I was waiting on the banks decision. Art was awesome as well. He came back with 3 really good options for me that would work for me. He got a great deal which made me cry because I was so happy that he listened and found a way!! More

Lied to, belittled, and decieved. I have yet to deal with Mr. Fohr as has neglected to return any of my attempts to contact him, his dealership has neglected to contact me as well. I went to this dealership Sat March 24th 2018, in hopes of recieving decent service. I was decieved about the truck, stating on dealer key tag, as being a 2014 Ford Stx, when in fact it was 2013. This truck through the entirity was pitched as 2014, I had to read fine print to learn of trucks actial age. I asked a salesman, whom I now found out through a very disrespectful Manager calling me a lier and stating "I have buyers remorse" that this sales agent was contracted, to produce a carfax on 4 seperate occassions and four different times he distracted and deflected the request. Had I seen the carfax I would not have thought about purchasing a truck presented under false pretenses as well as truck with no maintenance history. I came to dealership with an appointment with two seperate individuals, MR.FOHR who is stated on the Truecar truck printout (under a differnt truck valued at 15,000 dollars ) as being the sole POC, as well as Deanna Thompson, who i inquired about 5bother trucks valued no more then 15,000 dollars. I was then pawned off on a sub contracted employee who took my information FOR MY PRE APPROVED LOAN, and then took it upon himself to run my credit despite many occassions of me telling him not to do so. This under the law is Illegal and considered identity theft and fraud. I am 100%disabled veteran, this sub contracted agent then proceeded to play distraction and disception tecqniques to play on my disabilities. He would attempt to talk about his service in conjinction with mine to build trust. At the time I figured what better sition to deal with a guy who went down pretty much same thing I had through service to our country. However he proved himself highly untrustworthy by running my social securiety number without my knowledge or consent. Not single vehicle I had planned to see was presenter through test drives. After two seperate attempts of trying to sell lemon quality vehicles, one with an engine service light, one with oil pressure gauge going from 1/4 to 3/4 pressure the entirety of the test drive. And finally Ibasked him again about the trucks I had initially came to dealership for, he then went into speil how he can get me better truck for just as cheap. I told him specifically to bring me your best 15000 dollar truck. He came back with a vehicle which he claimed to be 2014 F150 STX the dearler tag on the key confirmed this, so aside from being distracted and manipulated during my 4 carfax reports requests, I didnt question trucks age again. I did however state I will not make a decision until Monday, at that time I was approached by JJ the manager and another manager who attempted to lower the "2014 Ford STX stated clearly by both managers" down from 28,000 dollars to 24,000 dollars. Before the price reduction I had made it clear I was going to come back monday and that no deal would be done today, I was called stupid by Dianna Thompson for this choice. This along with the manager "Lowering a 28,000 dollar "2014" truck to 24,000 and my ptsd and migraines now on overdrive through constan bombardment caused me to reconsider, this was a deal made under duress which is key fact for my request to come back Monday. I didnt find out trucks true age until i pulled my own carfax report at home, i did notice 2013 on the vehicle registration but just like them ommiting USAA FROM THAT SAME PAERWORK AS BEING MY THE LOAN CARRIER i considerd it a mistake as well. Had I seen the carfax as requested I would have known from the start. Had i seen the carfax with no service history, I would have walked out. Had I seen the Carfax valuing this truck at 21,000 dollars I would have walked out knowing these guys are con artists. If you have any kind of disability this dealership will exploit it to their fullest advantage, the same goes for those who served this Country in any way shape or form. Upon research the Kunes family of dealership carries a D rating from the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. Which leads into my next issue, of trying to contact them on the purchase, I contacted mrs. THOMPSON, JESSE THE FINANCE GUY, MR. KUNES, TOM FHOR, BRANDON THE SERVICE MANAGER AND DALE ANOTHER SERVICE MANAGER. ALL INQUIRES WENT WITHOUT EVEN A CALL TO ME TO SEE HOW THIS TRAVESTY COULD BE RIGHTED. I WAS ASSURED MONDAY BY BRANDON SOMEONE WOULD CINTACT ME. NO ONE DID. THIS DEAKERSHIP IS NOW IN PROCESS OF BEING BLACKBALLED BY USAA, REMOVED FROM THEIR SITE AS A TRUSTED CAR DEALER AND INVESTIGATED BY FORD MOTOR COMPANY. DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID IF NOTHING COMES FROM MY CLAIM I WILL BE HAPPY KNOWING NO MILITARY SERVICEMAN OR INDIVIDUAL WITH A DISABILITY GETS TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF, LIED TOO AND DISRESPECTED AS I HAVE. UPON ME TAKING INITIATIVE AND CONTACTING THEM AGAIN WED. 28, 2018 I WAS CALLED A LIER BY JJ ALSO HIM STATING HE HAS NO REGRETS ALSO HIM SYATING I WASNT FORCED, WELL GUESS WHAT I WASNT FORCED BUT THEY WOULDNT LET ME LEAVEVWITHOUT SOME KIND OF DEAL BEING DONE THAT DAY. I WAS ALSO GIVEN A 24000 DOLLAR PRICE OUT THE DOOR. AFTER THE MANAGER I HAD DISCUSSED PRICE WITH HAD LEFT. JJ THEN DECEPTIVLY CAME BACK WITH SOME PHANTOM NUMBER OF 1000 DOLLARS DOWN. A NUMBER REACHED by the tactics of the sub contracted agent continually bombarding me to finance through the dealer. Upon him consistantly asking me "what is most i would put down" and me consistantly saying "not a dime i have USAA BACKED PRE APPROVAL" I STATED IF I COULD PUT ANYTHING DOWN IT WOULD BE NO MORE THEN A THOUSAND BUT THAT POINT IS IRRELEVANT AS WITH A USAA LOAN I NEED NOT PUT A THING DOWN NOR WILL I. ITS NOW ON MR. FOHR TO MAKE SOME SINCE OF JUSTICE OUT OF THIS. I WAS LAUGHED AT WHEN MERELY REQUESTING TO RETURN THIS "2014" TRUCK TO THEM AND GETTING MY PROMISARY NOTE FROM MY BANK BACK FROM THE DEALER. AFTER ALL WHAT IS ONE RETURENED truck WITH MORE GAS, I FILLED TANK ON WAY HOME FROM DEALER, AND PARKED IN A HEATED GARAGE" in exchange for their name and client lotalty. I tell ya what, it all goes back to their D grade with the Better Business Bureu. I will not stop until justice is done. I will go to connections with national news. I only talked to one salesman, Kyle. He was great, not only was he professional, helped me out but he also was great dealing with me and my sarcasticness. I went there to look at a Cadillac SRX but didn't like and eventually looked at a Dodge Charger. It was very surprising to me who loves Cadillacs to come home with a Charger. Kyle and Kunes were great. It was good experience and very professional. More
