Living 1.5 hours away, this wasn’t a great situation, but at least better than nothing, and gave us a chance to get up to Spokane. First oil change went fine with no issues, although it certainly wasn’t a short process. Had a baby before the second oil change which was scheduled at 11am on a weekday (also an annoyance I didn’t realize, as they aren’t open on weekends). Brought the vehicle in at the scheduled time, and they said they wouldn’t get to it until after lunch. Annoying but fine, said it wouldn’t be done until around 3 (for an oil change that was scheduled over a week in advance??). Get a text later that it won’t be done until 5. Go to pick the vehicle after waiting for hours, and they say that they will not honor the “free” oil change as over 12 months had passed and the offer had expired.. oil changes are supposed to be 6 month intervals (or mileage, which we hadn’t reached), so what kind of fine print is that?? In the end, my wife had to devote 6 hours of her day plus 3 hours of driving (1.5 hrs of which with an infant crying in the back on the dark journey home since the service took so long) for a simple oil change. Highly disappointed in this dishonest dealership; we will not be going back and I highly recommend you avoid them as well. It’s a shame, as the Mazda vehicle has been nice. More

Poor communication. Unfriendly atmosphere. Physical plant is dated and worn. Cliché sales tactics and general lack of courtesy and enthusiasm. Ill informed sales people who promised to provide information an is dated and worn. Cliché sales tactics and general lack of courtesy and enthusiasm. Ill informed sales people who promised to provide information and didn't follow through. Tried to negotiate a cash deal and couldn't get a bottom line price or even an email reply follow-up. Complained and got excuses. Only Mazda dealership in town, so maybe they think they don't have to try? Took my business to Pasco dealership and got professional and reliable treatment. More

My Mom who is almost 80 went to Foothills Service for her 2013 Mazda3 that she bought there brand new in 2012. Since then she has acquired 15k miles. Yes that's correct 15k miles in almost 8 1/2 years. She had not been out of the house driving since Covid hit in Feb. A week ago she scheduled an apt for service saying she hadn't driven for a while and wanted them to "look the car over". Since new she always took the car to the dealer even when service wasn't do. I know cars that don't get driven much still need service on some things. But this time when I asked her about her service apt I was shocked! Over $850 on a car with 15k miles. I wont list everything done but if it was recommended to her it was done with her consent because she said they wouldn't tell me something needed to be done if it didn't. Well I beg to differ on what was done to her car with 15k miles. A few things they could have done for around 250-300 maybe, but 850??? They performed and did thing that were absolutely NOT needed. But like I said Does it really need it?? Well we recommend it.. If any of you have ever been to a service center, they recommend the moon and back. The difference between one you can Trust and one you can't is where honest Service Tech's come in play and wont take advantage of you if your male, female, elderly etc. The service Tech she had for the previous 8 years was honest and that's who I thought she was dealing with, but she said he's not there anymore. I complained to the Service Manager Scott today when I had knowledge of this unfortunate event. I will update if anything is offered or done to what I feel was someone taking advantage of an Elderly person. Hopefully this is a isolated incident. But if its not...Please be weary. This whole thing sickens me. More
I brought my 2018 Mazda CX-5 for routine maintenance, an oil change and tire rotation. While there, the service department suggested additional routine maintenance, as I was at 50k. Fair enough. Everything oil change and tire rotation. While there, the service department suggested additional routine maintenance, as I was at 50k. Fair enough. Everything seemed professional and straight forward...until they gave me my vehicle back. My CX-5 was returned with an overwhelming stench of gasoline in the cab. Neither my partner nor I could breath. I brought my vehicle back to address their lack of QA, I mean who thinks a cab full of gasoline stench is a way to return a customers vehicle? So it goes back in and their mechanic dumps some toilet smelling chemical under my hood. It made the vehicle's interior smell like a porta-potty or urinal cake, especially when I turn on they vents. They said the smell would go away. After a week of waiting for the stench to go away, brought my CX-5 back and they lightly washed the engine. It's been over a month since I've been there. My CX-5 still smells like a urinal cake or porta-potty when I turn on the air intake for my vents. The Service Manager checked it out, said he didn't smell anything, but he himself reeked of aftershave and cologne. My partner, and others who have been in my CX-5 can smell it, and this whole situation sucks. This dealership ruined my normal enjoyment of my two year old 2018 CX-5, I came to them without issues, and I left with issues they created. They have lousy QA, I think their mechanic was the culprit (I had California plates), and the air coming into my vehicle stinks every time I turn on my vents now. I wish I never took my vehicle to this Mazda dealership. You guys suck. More
