That experience was great except for the 6 hours I spent in the dealership haggling over the price. Since then I've brought my car there for all its service requirements and have had great experiences. I decided to purchase my lease and that's when the trouble started. The finance team made a "mistake" on my paperwork to the tune of almost $1,000 (not in my favor of course). After 3 trips back and forth from my credit union to the dealer that over charge was finally straightened out. Last Monday I called service to make an appointment for Friday at 9am to perform the 45,000 mile service. The car also has been idling a little rough, almost to the point of stalling, so I asked them to check that out as well. I got a shuttle ride home and heard nothing until 10 minutes before they were closing to tell me they hadn't had a chance to look at my car yet. The car was kept overnight and again and got a call at about 2pm that they were finally looking at my car and performing the maintenance. Mind you, I had an APPOINTMENT for the day before. After hearing nothing I called an hour before they were closing to tell them I was coming to get my car. When I got there I asked my advisor why my car was not looked at Friday when I had an appointment. I was told the appointment was only for checking the car in. What's the point of that? It's not like I would have been moved to the front of the line when I drove up at my appointment time. And why wasn't I told in advance that there was even the potential that they would have my car overnight? I would rather they be honest up front and at least communicate so I would at least know what to expect. And of course there was no discount or kick back even after all my complaining. It would have been nice to at least get an apology for my inconvenience but I got nothing except a $400 bill for the substandard services provided. More

Untrustworthy I have purchased two of my nissans from Fontana Nissan and have had all of my service for both of them done there. I have questioned things that have I have purchased two of my nissans from Fontana Nissan and have had all of my service for both of them done there. I have questioned things that have been told to me in the past but this time I caught them in an out right lie. When I called them on it, they lied again and again to try to cover themselves. No one had the decency to admit the truth. They tried to tell me I needed all new brakes when they had just replaced them only 10,000 miles before. So they either lied to me before and never replaced them or they were lying to me now and trying to get me to buy service I didn't need. When I brought this up the manager said he would call me back. Then he tried to say that it was only the rear brakes that needed to be replaced. When I again told them about the recency of the last change he said he would call me back again. The third call they tried to blame it on a new technician that didn't know how to use the tool. So, a couple of things: 1. Why do you have such unknowledgable, unskilled techs that cannot do the most easy of mechanical services 2. Why didn't the manager check the first time after realizing the error of the tech? There's only two answers, you have a terrible service department with techs that cannot do basic things so should not be trusted touching your car and/or you are liars which again no one should trust touching their car. Either way, I will never do business with Fontana Nissan again. They are untrustworthy and unprofessional. More
