We didn’t have a good experience here by a long shot, which is unfortunate as we were highly interested in buying a Kia Sportage Hybrid. We were pre-approved and attempting to narrow our list to just on which is unfortunate as we were highly interested in buying a Kia Sportage Hybrid. We were pre-approved and attempting to narrow our list to just one or two vehicles. First upon arrival, no one came out to assist us, so we had to go inside to get anyone’s attention, and even after that the salesman seemed very disinterested in assisting us which made us feel like our business was unwanted. He didn’t introduce himself nor did he ask our names. The vehicle we had initially came to see was supposedly on the lot per their website, which is why my wife and I made the drive from Sacramento, but the salesman made no effort to find it or show it to us even after I mentioned the exact model. During the test drive zero effort was made to explain the features of the vehicle, we only gleaned a few tidbits by asking questions which were answered with short replies with no detail. Ironically we actually liked the vehicle we test drove more than the vehicle we came in to check out but he said there were no other colors available and we didn’t like the black. He said it would be at least 3 more months before they would get more in, made no efforts to get our information to let us know when the vehicles came in, and basically left the ball in our court to call him. I am not sure if this salesperson was having a horrible day or what but this was easily one of the worst experiences we have had when contemplating a major purchase. To top it off, I just noticed a short time ago that there is actually a red one on the lot. What is going on out there? Who knows but it isn’t good. Unfortunately Folsom Lake Kia will probably not see me ever again unless they do something amazing to redeem themselves. More

I have owned several vehicles and I have never had such insufficient service from my car dealership and maintenance crew. My story is a little long so let me explain. I brought my car in for a diagnostic f insufficient service from my car dealership and maintenance crew. My story is a little long so let me explain. I brought my car in for a diagnostic for an engine issue. While the car was in the shop I had a few repairs done as well. Initially I was told this dealership does not have courtesy cars. Rudy my service provider told me point blank Initially said they dont have replacement vehicles. Then the story changed to "oh we have them but we are all out". My car is under warranty and kia should have replaced my car until repairs were made like any other dealer I have ever worked with for repairs. Then after my car was in this shop for 5 days I asked for an estimated time for when the car should be done without any answer to when my car should be done. They do love to take my money but when it comes to actual customer service they pretty much suck. This is not the first time ive had issues with this shop and I havent reviewed them before but the customer service here is lacking. I will be changing car maintenance dealerships after my repairs are finally completed and I have my car back. They like your money, but then they don't take care of their clients like the know they should and meet standards of customer service compared to other dealers. 3 different answers for every question. Also Rudy had me rent a car through my insurance when my car was fully covered by kia for repairs. Im out quite a bit a money because I was pushed away from from a replacement car from the dealership. After the car being there 6 days at this point I had to go in to have my questions answered. I pay my car payment take care of all scheduled maintenance but when I need the dealership to take care of me it's like pulling teeth. This is my second round of poor communication and this dealer trying to neglect their responsibility to me as a KIA owner. Ill be changing dealerships. More

Gary Paris is an outstanding sales person. Honest, fun, easy to work with, we did almost my whole deal via text. Whenever I have an appointment, I just pull into the service bay at my appointment time and they help me immediately. I never have to wait in a line of cars or be told "we are short staffed today so it may take longer." They try their best to get you in then out as soon as possible. All the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Zachery Cyr helped me and exceeded all expectations I would want from a service provider. Thank you! More

It was our daughter’s first car buying experience, she was so excited and I was so glad she didn’t have to go through the same kind of nightmare salesman I did as a kid.
