Jett is a great Service Advisor. I had a lot of work that needed to be done and he coordinated it well, and kept in touch with updates. I had a lot of work that needed to be done and he coordinated it well, and kept in touch with updates. More
I never complain about service ANYWHERE even if someone had such a bad day or bad customer that I got the brunt of it....but this time I cannot hold back. Ryleigh H. below may have a point about being disc had such a bad day or bad customer that I got the brunt of it....but this time I cannot hold back. Ryleigh H. below may have a point about being discriminated but I am not sure if it really stems down to gender. First, WHY in the world is it the customer responsibility to pay for a deposit on a rental for a WARRANTY issue that KEEPS HAPPENING?? I have had my engine replaced twice - all pistons have been changed and I have been waiting for a transmission for over a month (mind you I had to wait a month for my appointment to even turn my car in). All this from my 2016 Sonata. I have has issues with it since I bought it and when going to Roseville Hyundai for ALL my other warranty issues I never am asked to pay a deposit on any rental they provide. But now since taking it to Folsom Lake Hyundai because Roseville was under construction it has been a nightmare. My account has been accessed without my authority a couple times now BUT THEY SAY IT'S MY RESPONISIBILITY to fight the bank when they keep charging ("holding funds"). Per Pedro the service manager, "It's going to keep happening, you have to call the bank and dispute it" WHHHATTTT????? No reassurance that he would even try to find out why it happens, "Well ma'am, that's the way it works" Horrible - nasty way to let a customer know their money does not mean anything. "Holds" affect people Pedro - it IS A BIG DEAL - you would not like anyone messing with your money when you have to pay bills!!! I am literally disgusted on how Pedro handled this - I know I was irate and lost my cool but a manager should not be nonchalant and arrogant, "I am trying to help" was not good enough when you are accusing the customer of not understanding the policy before even hearing them out. You drew your own conclusion before the conversation started. Good job Elena for ALWAYS WORKING HARD. Pedro should go to a seminar on being a better manager. More

Horrible customer service experience today. I called Folsom Lake Hyundai 4 weeks ago because my check engine light came on. I lucked out because I have 2K and 2 months left on my manufacturer I called Folsom Lake Hyundai 4 weeks ago because my check engine light came on. I lucked out because I have 2K and 2 months left on my manufacturer warranty. I was told that service appointments were 4 weeks out which seems like a long time from what I'm used to from my experiences with Ford and Mercedes but it is what it is. Today, finally that day came so I drove my car from Sacramento to Folsom for my appointment. When I arrive, I find out my service technician is out and I'm told by a different service technician (Rod Johnson) that I would have to leave my vehicle for 2 weeks before they could read the code on it. No loaner, no rental. I asked if I could take the vehicle with me and return in two weeks when they are ready but was told that wasn't an option. Not really sure how to proceed but it seems like they're going to try to wait me out of my warranty. More
