My only issue was the lack of inventory for the specific sale which brought us there, so of course we ended up paying more than 2x the advertised price in the ad. After months of searching my wife decided she wanted to buy an Acadia. However after her experience at Folsom Lake Hyundai she decided to buy a Santa Fe Limited Ultimate. How's that for a change of mind..hahaha. After her test drive on Sunday, she received a call from Edwin Guadamuz to talk "shop". She told him the exact car she want, what she wanted in it (bells and whistles) and the price she was looking for. His response to her was "Come on in!!! I can get you exactly what you want." SOLD!! We went to Folsom Lake Hyundai today and we assisted by Gabe. He was an amazing guy whom made my our experience a great one. He walked us through the paperwork, kept us company the whole time while we waited to hear back from Edwin (you know..paperwork) and kept us informed every step of the way. We really enjoyed him!! Then Edwin made it happen!! My wife got her car at the price she wanted and she could not stop grinning. Edwin even kept us informed about the location of our vehicle while Gabe ventured into the burning California sun to pick it up for us. The remaining paperwork process was a breeze. Tip even made that process exciting as him and my wife talked about sports - Spurs and the Warriors..some old school Kings chit Chay and the home run ball he caught back in 92 (give or take a year). Overall it was great experience from start to finish!! I would definitely recommend Folsom Lake Hyundai to my family and friends. More

Did I just have fun at a car dealership???? Yes!!!! My fiancée car broke down so on Saturday we went to various dealerships. We stopped at folsom lake Hyundai and we were treated like friends. Gabe the initial salesman very friendly but when Art came along we knew we came to the right dealership. He was a salesman, charming, and knowledgeable. (We could tell why he was manager). Overall we found a car we both liked thanks to Gabe and Art!!!! Also liked that Art called to ask how things were going with the car. I'll be coming back for future purchases. More

Lies upon Lies Never got a call back over the 4 week period when I was told several times I would. Was lied to about purchase price (was told that they would sell it for ____ then raised price on me. Lied to about shipping cost (found out from shipping company). Did not charge tax correctly on car. Their solution to fixing the over tax, wrong purchase price, going with another shipper was to charge me more money. If you have a choice I would not go here AT ALL. Waited 4 weeks for my car to be delivered. Lied to about how long it would take to ship. Edwin said it would be shipped out same day. They did not submit the papers for shipment until 3 days later. Waited another 2 weeks for it to be picked up. More
Poor service I purchased a brand new car; however, the exterior and interior was dirty for obvious reasons that it was out in the lot for show. I was told by sale I purchased a brand new car; however, the exterior and interior was dirty for obvious reasons that it was out in the lot for show. I was told by sales that upon purchase, he will have it detailed and ready. I took the car home late in the evening assuming that it was clean. When I checked out the car the next morning, the windows had water marks, car doors had water marks with soap, trunk had water spots. I called to complain and I was told by Tabitha to take it back for a detailed car wash. I took it back and this time they left SWIRL MARKS AND SPIDER MARKS THAT WILL NOT COME OFF. This is a brand new car and they essentially ruined the body paint of the car. This is horrible service! More
Got a great deal but also a bit of a run-around I got a great deal but was unhappy with my first salesperson, Ivan. I visited Sunday to drive the car and he couldn't tell me the difference between t I got a great deal but was unhappy with my first salesperson, Ivan. I visited Sunday to drive the car and he couldn't tell me the difference between the Sonata trim levels (he didn't even know what I meant when I said the term "trim levels") and he wouldn't give me a brochure about the vehicle because "these things change all the time" and he wasn't sure he could find the latest ones. He also said he didn't know what the current week's specials were because they change all the time as well. We were given a very, very low offer by the sales manager on duty that day and Ivan and the manager said they could honor the offer for no more than two days. When I returned two days later (Tuesday of the same week), Ivan was busy with another customer and he asked us to sit and wait while he found another salesperson for us. We waited for several minutes at a table in the front and no one checked in with us even though the dealership was empty. Ivan then introduced us to Oscar, who was more helpful and more knowledgeable than Ivan. He knew a lot more about the car than Ivan appeared to know. Art, a different sales manager, was on duty that day and he gave us a very different number than we were given on Sunday. When we explained that it had only been two days and we were told the offer would be honored for those two days, Art told us that the dealership is given a certain number of discount coupons and they'd used them all up in the previous two days, so we couldn't get the discount we wanted. Regardless, we continued negotiating with Art and I told him I simply couldn't do the numbers he was offering. He came down much closer to where I wanted to be on my monthly payment and I put a little more down than I'd planned to. Overall it's still a really good deal and every car gets a full tank of quality gas before it goes home with the new owner. Ed in financing was fantastic. He's the only finance manager I've ever experienced that didn't try to scare me into purchasing a bunch of upgrades. He took no as an answer and didn't give me a hard time. It was a fast and easy lease process. My advice is to be patient and persistent with the sales crew and you'll get a good deal. More
