Had an appointment Monday at 10:15 car was there was looked at park and nobody informed me until I called Wednesday before they started to work on it. Folsom Lake Hyundai has always been friendly and helpful. We have been doing business with them for at least 10 years. Our last two vehicles have been Hyundais. We have had no problems with them at all and We have been doing business with them for at least 10 years. Our last two vehicles have been Hyundais. I wish I could give ZERO stars. Absolutely WORST customer service of any dealership, or business in general, that I have had the distinct displeasure of working with! The service advisors and their boss, the service director: Pedro, are a misogynistic “boys club” who treat their customers worse than literal s*** on the bottom of their shoes. I will NEVER give this dealership (Folsom Lake Hyundai) another penny of my business for service or otherwise, and I would advise against anyone using this dealership! Go to the Hyundai in Roseville, they are much more personable and they actually CARE about their customers and their customers’ well being! More
Nicolas offered me his outgoing personality, fun/funny character, and he was open to answering any questions I had about the vehicle, pricing, etc. He took every opportunity he could to ensure I fun/funny character, and he was open to answering any questions I had about the vehicle, pricing, etc. He took every opportunity he could to ensure I would leave the dealership fully content with the purchase and knowledge of the vehicle. He even took the time past closing hours to detail my vehicle. Originally, I was informed I would have to come back the next day because it had to be detailed the next morning. It was apparent to him I was pretty bummed out about it, but I understood the situation so I was ready to leave without my new vehicle. However, Nicolas came to me a couple minutes after and told me he was willing to get my vehicle as clean as possible the night of so I would be able to leave the dealership with it. He spent time PAST CLOSING to ensure my vehicle was in fairly tip-top shape for the night. After cleaning, he even ran me through a crash course of the vehicle's features so I was familiar with it enough to drive it for the night. Again, this is still well past closing. I was instructed to bring it in the next day so that he could complete the rest of the detailing which didn't take long at all. I would like to note that he was NOT even scheduled to work the next day, but he committed himself to sacrifice his free time to ensure my vehicle was in satisfactory condition. After detailing he also sat with me for about an hour going very in-depth all of the features of the vehicle even if it were features he already explained to me. In doing this, I was able to leave the dealership even more confident than I did the previous night. I was also working with Oz who was truly willing to work with me into getting a VERY good deal for my vehicle and trade-in. I am forever grateful for his support for veterans and thankful for his service as much he is of mine! He too maintained professionalism all throughout the deal as well as his humorous personality. Nicolas and Oz made me feel IMPORTANT, for I felt they truly went out of the their way to ensure I left the dealership content with my choice and purchase. I do not believe I would have been able to strike the gold of this deal if I went anywhere else. Overall, Nicolas offered services which were ABOVE and BEYOND my expectations of ANY dealer thus far. He maintained such a positive energy all throughout my time at the dealership. He is highly knowledgeable and is a true master of his craft. He truly understands the meaning of "service before self" and if it were my decision, I would offer this gentleman a raise and/or promotion! Oz presented me with and maintained his open-mindedness and empathy all throughout the negotation and overall closing process of the deal. I am 100% CERTAIN I will be recommending Folsom Lake Hyundai to any of my friends and family who are ever interested in purchasing a new vehicle.
