Horrible customer service experience today. I called Folsom Lake Hyundai 4 weeks ago because my check engine light came on. I lucked out because I have 2K and 2 months left on my manufacturer I called Folsom Lake Hyundai 4 weeks ago because my check engine light came on. I lucked out because I have 2K and 2 months left on my manufacturer warranty. I was told that service appointments were 4 weeks out which seems like a long time from what I'm used to from my experiences with Ford and Mercedes but it is what it is. Today, finally that day came so I drove my car from Sacramento to Folsom for my appointment. When I arrive, I find out my service technician is out and I'm told by a different service technician (Rod Johnson) that I would have to leave my vehicle for 2 weeks before they could read the code on it. No loaner, no rental. I asked if I could take the vehicle with me and return in two weeks when they are ready but was told that wasn't an option. Not really sure how to proceed but it seems like they're going to try to wait me out of my warranty. More
Worst service appointment ever. If you’re a woman be prepared to be discriminated against and talked down to. Very inappropriate behavior. On top of that My car was there for four hours for a basic service and left with more problems than it came in with. More
This is a shady dealership. I bought a hybrid and was charged 10K over invoice. I was told because of the demand and chip shortage. There was also a $1000 rebate and it wasn't given to me. Instead Oz gav charged 10K over invoice. I was told because of the demand and chip shortage. There was also a $1000 rebate and it wasn't given to me. Instead Oz gave me 2 visits for auto butler . Lastly my credit is good and Hyundai financed me at 3.9. I received letters from other banks stating that they weren't able to offer the financing.. When I looked into it, they wanted to finance closer to blue book and wanted different terms. It's a shame that Hyundai Motor goes along with the markup. I'll never buy from them again and I'll refinance as soon as the opportunity comes up! More

Dealership - service STBO (sucks the big one in case you're not familiar with the term) - they can't do anything without checking with mommy first; even say we can't work on it without outside technicians to advise us (just say we don't hire experienced mechanics). Always an excuse; never their problem or issue, "I'm sorry you were promised roadside assistance, loaner cars, valet service, but we can't help you with that-we're not set-up for that & the dealership can't support the commitments sold with the cars". GET OUT OF THE BUSINESS IF YOU CAN'T SERVICE WHAT YOU SELL GET OUT OF THE BUSINESS IF YOUR COMMITMENTS ARE NOTHING BUT ELEPHANT DUNG Felt sorry for the person who has to keep telling me these things, listening to my complaints & not being able to pass me off to the "unavailable service advisors". I took my new 2020 car in for a 3 month checkup and oil change. Bottom line the mechanic made a huge mistake and all the oil came out of the car. Service manager stated 100% their fault and I needed a new change. Bottom line the mechanic made a huge mistake and all the oil came out of the car. Service manager stated 100% their fault and I needed a new engine. But no new engine is available as a part so don’t know when car will be repaired. Met with Jimmy Groberski, general manager, the rudest man we have met with. No customer service for that man! They had talked about exchanging my car for another but Jimmy was not going to have it. He would give me fair less of what my car is worth and charge me more for a new car like mine. He told me that I am being inpatient for not waiting until my car is fixed, which I am still making car payments on and don’t know if it will be right after the engine is put in. That man needs to learn about respect and accommodating the customer to make them happy. More
