I received an email clearly stating that they had reviewed my truck that I purchased from them in late 2015 and they were offering a special deal paying original MSRP, as they were very shorthanded o reviewed my truck that I purchased from them in late 2015 and they were offering a special deal paying original MSRP, as they were very shorthanded on vehicles for their Labor Day event. When I called the dealership to confirm I was told that the email was correct and to bring my vehicle in for evaluation. When I got there the manager never even looked at my vehicle but gave me a lowball price roughly $20,000 less than MSRP and stated that my vehicle did not meet the parameters based on the model year even though they stated in the email and phone that they had reviewed my truck specifications. I want to emphasize that my truck is extremely clean with no accidents or any problems whatsoever and at worst case scenario they would have needed to do a detail job on it and very minor cosmetics paint buffing. My main complaint is that they wasted more than an 2 1/2 hours of my time and about 40 minutes of drive time to and from the dealership for an erroneous advertisement. However this is my fault for believing them A second time. The first time I visited their dealership when I purchased my truck. They took more than four hours to Close the deal constantly trying to upsell me the entire time they were trying to ”process the paperwork”. normally I would’ve understood the sales tactic however they requested that I bring my cancer child to the show room so they could meet him. Prior two showing up I explained that my son was Immuno compromised and he should not be out for an extended time. They told me the visit would be super quick as we had already agreed upon a price and the exact truck that was in the lot and they were super excited to meet him as he was somewhat of a local miracle story. Unfortunately thinking that they really wanted to meet my son was another lie just to get me in the door, my son was disappointed as they merely greeted him with a hello and a handshake and subjected him to an extremely long haggling process that nearly caused him to miss his medication. Ultimately every run-in I’ve had with this dealership has been met with poor form by their managers. They’re upfront salesmen are super nice however the second you get to the second level of sells it all goes downhill and any agreed-upon terms are completely invalidated! More
