BEWARE: This dealership is toxic and will lay blame on you for their mistakes. All of the below happened on a 2019 2500 HD Duramax with 14,500 miles on it. 1. Dropped vehicle off on 2/1 for recall and other minor issues, one being a squeak from a belt. Was told there is a dealer warning in place for this issue and they wanted to inspect. 2.On 2/3 received a call that as suspected harmonic balancer had slid back and cause damage to my timing cover and oil pan. They needed to order parts and would call me back with an update. 3. On 2/10 (7 days without contact from Folsom Chevy) I send an email asking for an update (time to get things in writing) 4. Service Rep replied and this is where it starts going down hill and the lies begin. Magically on that same morning all my parts arrived, they are going to begin working on it right away. They must have not realized that I can track movement on my phone. 5. 2/11 - They begin work on my truck and no not provide any form of tear down estimate as required by B.A.R. I receive call that my truck should be done on Monday or Tuesday 6. 2/16 - I pick up my vehicle to find that they literally had the thing in a million pieces, yet never notified me (Transmission out, front of truck off, drive line out, CV axles removed) I understand they did what they had to, but much much more than what was claimed by service rep. 7. 2/16- I inspect vehicle upon arriving home to find bolts were left loose on vehicle and new magic zip ties had appeared. - Sent email right away. 8. 2/17- Service manager called, we talked for a long time he gave me the run down of his staff and why the delays and said "if you want to bring the truck back we can tighten those two bolts, but other than that we did the best we could. I told him I can tighten two bolts more concerned about what else was missed.- offered nothing past we did the best we could. Service manager highly insinuated that I as the consumer brought the vehicle home and loosened the bolts myself, this was stated multiple times in the conversation. 9. 2/17- Informed from another dealership to contact GM direct. 10. 2/18 Dealership responds to review post on FB claiming I denied them the opportunity to fix the issue based on the conversation with the service manager and his offer to tighten the bolts that they didn't tighten the first time. 11. 2/18 - Leave message for GM (he has never reached out) called Service Manager again to discuss that I denied his half wit offer to tighten the two bolts his staff forgot, but once again clarified that I wanted a full re-inspection of the work. Once again mentioned insinuation that I loosened the bolts myself, I offered up my solid proof that I did not, sent pictures where you could see the impact marks around each bolt that was tightened, but none around the ones that were loose. They obviously avoided any mention of this and never apologized for this nonsense. 12. Picked up truck on 2/22 - They performed inspection and then went out of their way for some reason to call out I have aftermarket tires, rims, leveling kit, and electronic door steps. I pray to little baby duramax jesus I never have to set foot at this dealership again. More

I was so excited to get a new Traverse as we are expecting our first child. Unfortunately it ended up being a huge nightmare and Folsom Chevy has lost any future business from us and our friends/family (DO NOT GO HERE, they say it is all about small business and family owned quality, don't let them fool you). We were told MULTIPLE times by our sales associate that we would be allowed the 3-day option to find different financing if we could find a lower rate, yet somehow this information failed to make it the managers as there was a 'miscommunication' amongst the sales associate/general manager/finance manager. I qualified for an interest rate with my own bank that was 1.64% lower. My bank called me shortly after telling me that Folsom Chevy had already submitted the loan through their own finance and that I should follow up with them to see what is going on. Mind you this was within 2 days of getting the vehicle. Upon multiple phone calls and trips down to the dealership (I left work early TWICE for this) they finally told me they could cancel the transaction with their bank if we confirmed with them by the end of business. I was told by both their finance managers (Dave and Arin) that cancelling the loan just needed to be approved by their general manager Bryan. At the end of my last phone call Dave told me to not even waste my time coming down because they weren't going to change anything. I reiterated how he had just told me that they could cancel it, but he said he 'mis-spoke' as did the other finance manager. The general manager Bryan would not even speak to us or see us. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement, this whole thing has been a nightmare. I literally did everything in a timely manner as I was directed by my sales associate and they refused to make things right when they clearly had operated in error. More

It sifts even wort than before they did not fix the noise problem either. This place has the worst mechanics. When I got my car back after they had it for a month it smelled like dog cramp. So gross. At this point I don't know what to do I do not trust them AT ALL! I spoke to the service manager and he was full of it. NO TRUST! More
Service Review i have dealt with a few service writers and they have gotten me in and out in no time for regular oil changes and tire rotations. Quick lube really is i have dealt with a few service writers and they have gotten me in and out in no time for regular oil changes and tire rotations. Quick lube really is quick lube in and out in less than hour. My vehicle is 13 years old and has 93k miles and I plan on it going another 100k. Last visit pointed out that shortly I would be due for a major maintenance on my vehicle. I appreciated the heads up so I can plan for the vehicle being in the shop for a day or two and being aware of the cost. More
Service rip off Flashing engine light came on my 2003 Silverado ( babied garaged 65k ) took it to multiple mechanics for a diagnostic. No one could peg the problem- Flashing engine light came on my 2003 Silverado ( babied garaged 65k ) took it to multiple mechanics for a diagnostic. No one could peg the problem- then thought i'll go to the dealership they have to be able to solve the mystery . They said i had a bad coil and needed a major tuneup at the price of 1200 bucks. Changed out the coil myself -no change engine light still flashing. So i started to change the spark plugs one at a time. After changing #1 plug truck ran perfect. In the end i spent 500 dollars on diagnostics from 3 different shops but ended up fixing the problem myself with one spark plug. Bad lasting taste in my mouth from Folsom Chevy service dept. More

All in all it was a good experience however the paperwork experience was a little bit lengthy and there seem to be some confusion but we got through it. Jerry the sales manager knew exactly what we were and were not willing to pay and worked hard to make the numbers where we needed them to be. Blake was the sales guy and although he was very young he was also knowledgeable and very polite and customer focused! More
Lying dealerships I went to buy a vehicle and was very specific with the salesman as I have dealt with multiple hard inquiries before. I told the salesman to run only 1 I went to buy a vehicle and was very specific with the salesman as I have dealt with multiple hard inquiries before. I told the salesman to run only 1 credit inquiry, as our representative he should have listened, he represents the buyer. Just found out They did three hard inquiries even though I was willing to pay cash or put whatever amount down that they wanted. They had a rebate if you finance a portion, so I put more than 50 percent down. Thanks for your dishonest. I will never purchase from you again. You really dont care that my credit is now down 59 points as a result of your incapacity to give a crap. Maybe pay attention to the customer I know, its only about making money. More
Stellar dealership I have purchased a lot of vehicles from dealerships in 64 years. They have all left me feeling abused and badly in need of a shower. Having now pur I have purchased a lot of vehicles from dealerships in 64 years. They have all left me feeling abused and badly in need of a shower. Having now purchased 2 (two) used vehicles from them, Folsom Chevrolet, (aka Folsom Chevy), has changed my mind about auto dealerships. My first purchase was after my Volkswagen was totaled by a hit and run driver. Up to that point I had not owned an American made vehicle in over 30 years. I was looking through their online inventory for another Mercedes or VW and I spotted this beautiful BLUE 2012 Chevy Cruze LTZ. The color of the last 4 vehicles I have owned was the deciding factor in my decision to buy. EVERYONE has a white, black, grey or silver car. This one was BLUE! After a relatively painless negotiation with Danny and signing EVERY piece of paper in Bear's finance office, ( I think he pulled stuff out of the trash for me to sign), it was MY blue 2012 Chevy Cruze LTZ. I had purchased a 15,000 warranty for the vehicle. As it was approaching the end of the warranty period the check engine light came on. I brought it to Folsom Chevy's service team and after diagnosing the issue they determined the repairs were covered under warranty for the $200 deductible. I then went and spoke to Erin (sp) in Sales about extending the warranty. The warranty I needed combined with the car payment was too cost prohibitive for my budget. While I was waiting for the repair diagnosis I was walking the lot and saw a 2015 Chevy Cruse LTZ RS...and it was this remarkable emerald GREEN!!!! AND it was an RS...whatever THAT was. I made the joke to Erin that we could just trade keys and call it a day. By the end of the day that had happened. I had a fantastic upgrade within my budget with a CPO warranty and a total down payment less than what I was looking at spending for the deductible and the extended warranty down payment. A joke has become reality. I came in for repairs and left with a newer upgraded vehicle with a CPO warranty. Did I mention it was this aMAZing emerald GREEN? Even though it took several hours to get the financing arranged, and then a few more to get all of the approvals needed, this was by far the least painful purchase of any previous. They even managed to lower my interest rate by 9%. My luck with tires hasn't been that great lately so I have had to work with The Service department twice now just for tires. Someone in my neighborhood is apparently not happy with me. Most of my interactions, including this last adventure, have been with Tifny (yes spelled like that) as my adviser. She is simply an amazing person with an absolutely incredible sense of humor. The rest of The Service department is stellar and have had me in and out rapidly every time. I am and will continue to be, as long as I continue getting the same treatment, a repeat customer. I have never been a "fan" of anything...except The SF Giants...until I came to Folsom Chevrolet. Now I am a fan of theirs. I suspect I am not their first. More
