I found a car I liked on autotrader and headed to Foley Motorsports to check it out. On first impression the place looked great. Very organized and clean, lots of nice looking cars. My only complaint so Motorsports to check it out. On first impression the place looked great. Very organized and clean, lots of nice looking cars. My only complaint so far is that I was a bit confused about where I should park. I then went inside and was quickly met by Zee. He was very pleasent and after telling him the car I was interested in, we were quickly out on a test drive. Zee was very social and not pushy like many salesmen. I can actually say that throughout my sale I genuinely enjoyed my conversation with him. Again not like most salesmen I've dealt with in the past. Once we got back to the dealership we started talking numbers. It was refreshing that he was willing to negotiate fairly and after a few back and forths we agreed on a price. The only reason I gave a four out of five for price is because it was a good price, not a great price. What I paid was a fair price for the car, it wasn't a steal. But again it was a fair price. The man I dealt with for financing was also very pleasent, they even beat the very good rate I had been preapproved at from the bank! Overall, the place is very nice, clean, and organized. I would recommend buying a car from here and specifically from Zee. He is a great guy to deal with, a class act and very professional. More
Drove 2 hours and purchased a used SU from Foley after months of searching online and finding one at their dealership. Purchased the car drove it home a week later. About 2 weeks after owning and drivin months of searching online and finding one at their dealership. Purchased the car drove it home a week later. About 2 weeks after owning and driving the car an issues developed causing the engine to crank for up to 15 seconds before starting. The car still had a one month dealer warranty so I contacted the salesman who said the one to talk to was the man in charge of the service dept. who wasnt available but he'd have him call me soon. No call back that day. Called the next day again and got a "sorry, got tickets to the bruins and left early. Didnt talk to him." I finially talked to Kevin in the service dept. who was super friendly and willing to work with me. Very reassuring. SERVICE DEPT WAS GREAT! to make that clear. Because of the distance Kevin said to have our local dealer diagnose the issue and incase it was simple but if it was major they'd like to do the work themselves. Completly understanable. Later that day my wife said the car started so hard she didnt feel comfortable driving it. To the dealer it went for over a week. No major issue, but parts took some time to get. Previously we were pulled over by the police in our town telling us that the tinted windows on the front that came with the car that we were assured by the salesman were legal in NH. Clearly not. We removed the big sticker tinting on the front windows only to find circular scratches all over the glass on both sides. Did not go over well with my wife because they really show in the sun. The defrost built into the front windshield also didnt work on one side we found once it got cold out. From looking online Foley just got in a black year newer car just like ours. After discussing with the salesman our situation I said because this car was such a headache we'd like to see what they can offer us towards a trade in towards the year new black car. He was going to crunch some numbers and get back to me. We figured we'd probally take a loss but at least we wouldnt have scratched windows in our line of sight everyday. Two days later no call back from salesman. "sorry dude, everyones gone to the boston marathon. Maybe later in the day." No call back later, I call again and get another sorry. This was monday, I called everyday that week and got no results. Called the next week when everyone was back. "um, let me call you back." Finally got some results but he said the trade in they would give us was $10k less than we paid for the car 3 weeks and 1500 miles ago. I said how i was hoping for them to throw me a bone seeing how we had the car 3 weeks and it spend most of the time in the shop and had all the other issues. Plus we got it and it was still dirty from the GM driving his golf buddies all over in it. I concluded that the salesman had no clue what I was getting at all these weeks I was calling. He said he have to talk to the owner and get back to me. NEVER heard from him again. I was so disgusted and sick of calling at this point I gave up trying with them. I got the feeling that this is what they wanted and was just hoping I would go away. I left the dealership originally feeling good and thinking I'd buy another car from them but after this there is no way. I understand that its a used car and things happen that are unpredictable. If they'd have just said, look we really cant help you, or something along those lines I'd have left with a better feeling and have a degree of respect for them but they left me feeling that they are just a sleazy dearship that sells high end cars. -Service Department was terrific!
