Accommodating and great customer service. I had a flat tire and the spare also is running low on air. I brought my car to Flow Volkswagen service and even without an appointment they took me I had a flat tire and the spare also is running low on air. I brought my car to Flow Volkswagen service and even without an appointment they took me in on a Saturday lunch time. Tiffany is going to order the tire replacement as I’ll need a tire replacement and Andrew filled up my spare tire. Another lady whom I don’t know the name has been very helpful and got me the help I needed as I arrived during lunch time on a Saturday. Thanks you all… and the beverage and snack station is great too. More
I would give 10 stars if possible. Eva Portillo is a dream sales person. I found a used vehicle in their inventory on-line and showed up when they opened on Monday morning to see it, and test drive. Low and behold, it was exactly what I had been looking for. We went ahead and made the purchase. They worked with us through the finance department and made it a great experience. The vehicle had not been cleaned and prepared to sell yet and we were not prepared to take possession of it that day anyway. They did a serious deep clean and made it look as close to brand new as possible. Sadly when I went to pick it up, the A/C wasn't working. Eva took it straight to the service dept.and they couldn't get it in to be checked out immediately. So I was given a loaner car to go home. ( I had my 17month old granddaughter with me on both the purchase and service days). They repaired the A/C before mid day the flowing morning. Tiffany was my service advisor and absolutely loved her. My whole experience was fabulous!!! ( side note: I worked in the automotive service industry for over 30 years. So I have a good knowledge of how things work at dealerships) so , major cudos to Flow Volkswagen!! More
What a wonderful browsing experience at Flow VW of Asheville! Both Eva Portillo (Sales) and Jordan Patton (Manager) were attentive, helpful and full of info on the products and inventory of the dealer Asheville! Both Eva Portillo (Sales) and Jordan Patton (Manager) were attentive, helpful and full of info on the products and inventory of the dealership. Both accommodated questions over a 3-day period while hunting for a new vehicle after 3-years of not having one. Their patience's paid off as I decided on a 3-year lease of 2024 VW Taos! Thank you to them both for an easy shopping experience. Rose C Fletcher, NC More
Had a horrible experience years ago when it was Harmony. Returned recently and was so pleasantly blown away. Worked with Erika and Jordan to find the exact car we wanted and get a deal we were happy with. T Returned recently and was so pleasantly blown away. I posted a lengthy review yesterday in response to a request from VW and this dealer. My review was submitted successfully but is now not visible to on the reviews page for this dealer. I will check ag request from VW and this dealer. My review was submitted successfully but is now not visible to on the reviews page for this dealer. I will check again daily to see if it ever shows, but it appears they may be hiding it. It was a very costly and frustrating experience. I could never recommend purchasing a used car nor service from these people. What a shame that an authorized dealer would treat a customer this way. I will be publishing my thoughts on this experience on social media. Warning - do not purchase a used car from these people. Their inspection process and warranty is a sham! More
I work, so I needed to drop my car off the evening before for transmission and engine service. The folks that worked with me were amazing, absolutely no complaints. Brooke was awesome. Tiffany went above and for transmission and engine service. The folks that worked with me were amazing, absolutely no complaints. Brooke was awesome. Tiffany went above and beyond , driving my car around to the front of the building, due to rain, so I wouldn't have to get wet. However, customers know that this dealership charges $45.00 to drop car overnight for service the next day. If you are good with the charge for parking in their parking lot, okay. I was not happy when I looked over invoice at home later. I could not get there by 5 15, as scheduled so I did checkout online to make it quicker for service advisors and folks wanting to leave for home, me included. I will check all invoices from now on due to this type business additions. I have called and asked for a service manager and no one answers, leave a message. It's mid morning service managers should be available to take calls. No need to refund the 45 dollars, if you did I would feel guilty about the unfortunate star I gave this dealership. Moral: don't leave your car it will cost you $45.00. More
If I could remove all the stars on this post I would. This is the worst dealership I have ever been to. The first time I went was for an oil charge and my front end assist light came on. They told me the This is the worst dealership I have ever been to. The first time I went was for an oil charge and my front end assist light came on. They told me the alignment was off and needed to be fixed. I was told it was not covered under my warranty. Only had 10,000 miles on my car at the time. Purchased the vehicle with 11 miles on it. Spent $369.95 to fix. Two days later the light came back on. Started a new job and couldn’t get the time off to fix it again. Second time was for another oil change. Asked them to look at the front end assist again. Schedule an appt at 2 pm Oct 13th. I checked in and was shown the lounge. I was told William will be right with me. 30 mins later he showed up with an iPad to show me a car that was not mine. He asked me if I was aware that my engine light was on. I told him that was not my car and couldn’t have gotten into my car since I still had my car keys. He stated he would fix the information and get back with me. 20 mins go by he told me it was in the shop and they are going to look at it. I was there until 5 pm. I waited 3 hours for a oil change. I was told they couldn’t fix the front end assist since it would take 4 hours to fix on a calibration machine. I scheduled an appt for Oct 10/18/23 at 7:30 am the first appt of the morning. I called 10/17/23 to verify the cost of the fix since it wasn't discussed at the visit. I spoke to a gentlemen named john who told me the information of the wrong vehicle was still under my name for my car. They had my car listed with 65000 miles on it instead of 19000 that was actually on it. I received a call by from William telling me he was sorry and had updated the information correctly. I was told my car was under warranty and it will be covered at 100%. The next day, I dropped my car off. I didn't hear back from the dealership. I called at 1 pm and left a vm. I receive a txt that my car may not be serviced that day even though it has been there since 730 am. I received a call at 2 pm that my car is now not under warranty and I will have to pay $660 to recalibrate my car. I asked him to speak with his service manager and get back with me. I didn’t not receive call back. I went to the dealership at 5 pm to be told that not only did he not speak to his manager that he can’t help me. I left a vm for a service manager and was not given the luxury of a call back. I will never use your dealership again. I will never purchase a vehicle from Volkswagen again. If I have issues with my car I will drive to Spartanburg SC or Kingsport TN then reuse your dealership. I will be filing a complaint with Volkswagen for the service I was awarded at your dealership. I have spoken to several people especially women who feel this dealership discriminate against them. Customer services doesn’t exist with your staff. More
I've wanted a golf for as long as I can remember. I've watched as the golf has evolved and changed. I used to visit the dealership when it was in North asheville and test drive but never felt as comfortab watched as the golf has evolved and changed. I used to visit the dealership when it was in North asheville and test drive but never felt as comfortable as I did with Brendan Burgess who made the difference. Within an hour we had my car picked and details clear. He was open with all questions, even when I texted after hours. If you want a genuine person who will listen and be there with all questions you have go to Brendon. More
Cody helped us buy our car; probably the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had buying a car. VW is super lucky to have him! He knew so much about VW cars, and knew a lot about off brand cars like the one experience I’ve ever had buying a car. VW is super lucky to have him! My wife would routinely leave there with an outrageous quote, totaling several thousand dollars. Their TDI tech installed cam shaft improperly. Replaced the clutch when I told them the flywheel was warped. Their TDI tech, no fault on their part, is often doing a particular repair for the first time, following VW reference material. This cost us unending time and money, but we started using an independent shop. Appalachian diesel works does the work for a fraction, and the work is reliable. If this dealership were more competent and offered any semblance of value, I’d happily take my 3 VAG cars there. On my last visit, I bought a key from them and it needed programming. When I got home, it did not work. Apparently the battery was dead in the new key I paid them several hundred dollars for, and tech realized this. Instead of handling it, or noting it, they sent me home to sort it on my own. Had to drive back down there again. I just don’t have time for that kind of incompetence. That’s just a key. I really don’t trust them to get it right, and there’s too much risk in complex repairs that they will make mistakes that only surface later. The dealer is unavoidable for warranty work or recalls, but for regular service, find a reliable independent. More
