When I finally decided on the CRV, of course I wanted it right away. Steve and the dealer exchange staff worked very hard to find the exact vehicle I wanted and got it for me within a few days. The price was fair, he didn't recommend any useless options, and I got a good value on my trade-in. This is the second vehicle I bought from Steve (the third from Brown) and I would recommend him highly. I have had my vehicles serviced at Brown for over ten years and am very happy with their service also. More

Normally, I have hated the car buying experience and the high pressure sales tactics that often accompany purchasing a new vehicle, but my recent experience with Steve Young at Brown Honda in Charlottesville demonstrates that there are some salespeople that can properly assess a buyer's knowledge and needs, and make the transaction as efficient and no-nonsense as possible. In my case, I knew exactly what I wanted and at what price, and Steve showed me nothing but responsiveness, efficiency, friendliness and respect. Terry Gibbons was very helpful. He showed us vehicles that met our described needs, allowed us short test drives, and suggested a vehicle we hadn't even considered (new) which ended up a finalist. In the end, we narrowed our search down to two vehicles (after visiting many dealerships and test driving many cars) one new and one used. On our return visit we took each for a one hour test drive in the rain on our own. This was invaluable in helping my wife and me make a decision on a very fine used vehicle which will serve us for many years. A couple of days later when I couldn't get my phone to sync with the Bluetooth, I went back, and Terry walked me through the process until it worked. In all, we had a great experience. More

I live in Springfield, VA and was going to make a trip to Charlottesville to visit my relatives. I had heard about Brown Honda and decided to look up their record on the internet. I was very pleased with the reviews which were outstanding. Almost all the customers were pleased with the sales personnel. I found an outstanding review for Shane Thackston. I decided that he was the person that I wanted to deal with. Initially, our conversations were via telephone. I looked over the Honda brochures online and decided to go with the Honda Accord. Shane was extremely helpful in helping me find an Accord that had the features that I wanted. I went to a local Honda dealer to test drive an Accord and was very pleased with how the car handled. I wasn't particularly interested in the navigation system but when I saw how the backup camera worked, I liked what I saw. However, that feature only came with the navigation system. The only flaw was that the color that I wanted was not available at Brown nor within 300 miles of the dealership. Shane made every effort to find what I wanted. A silver Honda with the features that I wanted was located in Virginia Beach, VA. The auto was driven to Charlottwville and was ready when I went to visit. I was given a briefing on how all the features worked. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I drove out of there a very happy customer. More
