Kim the salesperson was professional and made the experience a pleasure as shopping for cars is akin to root canal. Mike the sales manager also spent quality time with us to make sure we were happy. Needless to say we are proud new owners of a 2017 CR-V and recommend you stop at Browns one more time to make the deal. More
Avoid service center at all cost Unfortunately, we were forced to take our Honda Pilot into this pathetic excuse for a service center to have a recall repair performed on the passenge Unfortunately, we were forced to take our Honda Pilot into this pathetic excuse for a service center to have a recall repair performed on the passenger airbag. Their technicians damaged the dash panels by forcing a tool between the seams to pry open the compartments so they could access the airbag. They also did not reinstall the dash panels or the radio deck display trim panels correctly, leaving us with gouge marks and uneven dash lines. The service manager denied any wrongdoing basically before I could even deliver details about the damages, as I mistakenly said "driver's side" panels. She was combative during the entire conversation and then did not respond to my email with photos of the damage. I contacted Honda of America and filed a complaint. They assigned me a case manager who immediately went to bat for me, the customer. The next day, the service manager from Brown Honda called to tell me they would replace the damaged panels. Essentially, HOA's case manager forced Brown Honda's hand to make it right. Honda of America stands by their customers. However, Brown Honda of Charlottesville apparently does not. More

My battery was dead but my car was fine and somehow half of the stuff under my hood was "corroded" after I left it with them. They are known by dealers across the country as being huge scammers... DO NOT BUY OR SERVICE YOUR CAR AT THIS DEALER. More

We were not disappointed in either one. Steve expertly assessed our needs and led us through the process of selecting what we thought we wanted. Test drives, information about a couple of models, and several sit-downs where we discussed alternatives all went toward helping us find exactly what we wanted. Pricing was a friendly, non-confrontive process, as was the trade-in of an older car. We now are proud new Pilot EXL owners and feeling good about it! Shane in the business office was very professional, informative and flexible. We were not his easiest customers, but he was an excellent adjunct to Steve, they made an awesome team! Thank you, Steve and Shane, for ushering us through a painless process to the happy ending. And thank you, Brown Honda, for a refreshingly updated view to matching selling with buyers' needs. We took a test drive with Terry Gibbons and decided on the spot to purchase. The price was as quoted and Brown's just happened to be having a sale on accessories, so we were able to pick up some items at a discount. Their finance person, Shane, was pleasant and we appreciated his no-pressure style and his knowledge of extended warranty options. We highly recommend purchasing from this dealership. Our only regret is that we didn't know about Brown's Honda sooner! More
I had never purchased a Honda before, so I had a ton of questions. Mike was incredibly knowledgable and helped me pick the CR-V that was perfect for me and my family. Once we decided on the one we wanted, Mike went over all of the features and sat in the car with me to walk me through setting up blue tooth, programming stations, etc. so that everything was all set when I left the dealership. Overall, it was a great experience. I would highly recommend Mike and Brown Honda! More

I worked with sales representative Mike Shields who was very informative, efficient and professional. He definitely made the whole process worthwhile. Jason Rosales in the Finance Dept. was wonderful to work with and understood my financial situation and helped me to work out a reasonable financial plan that was within my budget. It was a great display of team work and I recommend this dealership to others! More
